i have a private home number and i have been getting calls from 08-8243-9200 for a long time now. It started of maybe a month ago and would get about 5 in one evening every 10 minuted and it is 2 calls aday.

0882439200 has called me 10 times this morning alone!  The last time I answered and nobody was there so I then got on the landline to phone them back and got an automated (american) answering machine saying leave a message after th tone but there was no tone!  I dont know who this is but they are getting on my nerves!

Becareful of this company, they have had a number of court appearences and fines due to their unscrupuless buisiness dealings.

Ashley Francis Day, was fined a total of $700 plus costs of $825, and his Brisbane-based company, Craftmatic Australia, was fined a total of $1600 plus costs, in the Perth Magistrate’s Court.
The company and Mr Day pleaded guilty to offences involving two customers, both retirees, who each signed a contract to purchase an adjustable bed worth several thousand dollars.
Both customers received an unsolicited telephone call from Craftmatic and agreed to an in-home sales presentation about the beds.

I have had 3 missed calls from this number this morning.  I don't believe they've tried before but I am not sure... glad to see that they're on here and will heed the warnings of others.

Have been getting calls from this 08 no. for a few days now.  When I answer I get nothing on the other end.  Just read your blogs about it being Craftmatic and it rings a bell (pardon the pun).  I think I entered a comp. regarding them and I remember my husband getting a leaflet in the mail last week from them, so I suppose it's my own fault they're ringing.  Will have to email and tell them to stop - I'm not buying a bed.

Having just written the last message, now I keep getting calls from Melbourne 9663 6900 which on looking it up on the net, appears to be "21st Century International Business Development Centre"????  They keep ringing every 5 mins and when I answer, there is only beeping on the other end.  I certainly didn't enter a comp. for them.

Im getting calls from this number too. No one says anything when I answer, and then when i call back it says leave a message and then it hangs up!

I just got a call from this number. They said they were "Craftmatic" and I was in the draw for a fold away bed or $1200 cash. She also wanted a representative to do a presentation for me and tried to book a date and time.

I asked how they got my number and the woman said a friend of mine must have given it to them. I suggested that my friends wouldn't hand my phone number out and she got defensive and hung up.

I called back but went straight to answer phone. Properly dodgy I think.

SCAM - beware

We have been getting 2-3 phone calls a day from this number - i too tried to call it back and only got the answering machine msg. We are on the Do not call register and have only been receiving the calls SINCE then!!

I have been getting calls from this number for months. Six calls in the last hour, i hate having a mobile phone at the moment may just turn the darn thing of.

I had three missed calls this morning from both my home number and mobile! 08 8243 9200 It was an answering machine when i called back. I have recently changed to Optus and requested a silent number, maybe this had something to do with it?

Continuously getting phone calls on all family members mobiles from 0882439200.  Advising that we have won a competition, something to do with beds etc.  They are continuously calling every day.  At the point of harrassment.  Have been advised to report this number to Brisbane Police regarding this issue.

I've received 2 calls from this number in the last few hours. I missed the first call and there didn't appear to be anyone on the other end when I answered the 2nd call.

Really appreciative of everyones comments though! Helps to know what i'm dealing with. I have ammunition to use against them if there ever IS anyone on the other end now! :)

I am getting the same thing. i have just had 3 calls in 5 mins but they just hang up as soon as i answer.

So it is still happening. very annoying really.

This place has been calling me without fail everyday from 9am! Im glad i didnt pick up but i really wish theyll stop calling!
