i just received a call from this number, but i'm not with optus!!! garrrggghh!! it was a man with a thick indian accent and i told him i don't want these type of phone calls on my mobile/

This number has been calling me for over 2 weeks now and never leaves a voice message. When called back, it is an answering service saying it is Optus. I have no services with Optus, in fact I cancelled  my last service with them over 12 months ago so am unsure as to why they would be calling except for telemarketing purposes.

i'm not even with optus
and no way am i calling wa on my mobile
if i answer their call i'll be very angry

I have been receiving calls from this number however either they hang up or noone answers when I answer.

i have been getting a call from this number around 1pm a few times this week. never leaves a voicemail...

I started to receive calss from this number straight after signing up with an employment agency in Brisbane.  So much for privacy!  No-one leaves a message either.

I got a call from this number today. strange it only rang about 4 or 5 times. I called back a while after and got a recorded message with an indian accent saying it was from optus blah blah blah so I hung up. I looked up the number and glad I found this site.  However I am worried now there might be a surprise on my next bill, as mentioned above by A Boland.

I answered a call from this number on Wed after they rang and didn't leave a message.
When I answered and they advised me who they were I advised that I wasn't interested but she didn't listen.  She just kept going on and on and on and eventually I just hung up.

For the last 2 days I have received phone calls from this same number and they just hang up whenever I answer.  Today I've started hanging up on them.  

By the way they say that they are from Optus.  My suggestion is register your phone number on the Do Not Call Register.  Big fines apply if they do contact you

Hey dnt listen 2 them they r. Fake and dodgy

Been getting similar call from a "Michelle" from 0884626444.  Very polite.  Tells me she's based in the Phillipines working for Optus. Tempted to get an iphone contract through her but don't want to send personal details to an unknown person overseas...
