this person is harresing me with@least 10 calls says nothing,knows when im trying to use phone,next stop reporting to my phone co.thx

I received a call from " 1253429454" but when it was calling my phone the number showed up with a "c" in it. I could't understand what the man said right away, I don't know if he knew my name or not. He did have an accent though. He continued to talk & said he was conducting a survey and asked what stations I listened to. I told him that I don't know who you are & I am answering any questions from you. Then I hung up.
I am also a T-Mobile customer. I'll have to check with other people I know that have T-Mobile to warn them.
From what I read in the above comments, it sounds like someone calling & asking for identity information which makes me concerned that the caller is attempting identity theft.

I just wanted to caution you about any of your identity information out to anyone over the phone, especially when you didn't call them. It takes very little info for people to steal your identity. Monitor your credit & bank accounts, also check your credit to see if any recent attempts to use your information. I would also call your phone company and advise them of the call. Take care!

What's going on?

Thats an interesting idea, but I don't think its the prefix.   In fact I know it wasn't (at least in my case).   My number was ported from another carrier.  And so are many, many others - there are too many T-mobile customers being victimized by these scammers to be a coincidence.

I get these calls too but instead of a c I get a > sign in front of the 454.  These are immediately followed by a call from a 312-702-0763 # who claims they are my pharmacy - I have a 435 area code where I live.  Some on line drug company who harassed me for months and my boyfriend would answer the phone and told them I died.  They still called 2x a day for over a month and I finally had peace for a few months and now they seem to be back.  Not sure how to report them since when you call the # back it doesn't work and I am on the do not call registry.  I also have T-mobile.  Does the FCC have a website to report them to?  Thanks!

Get a call every few days, shows up on cell 1253429c454 with unknown for the caller. Also have T-Mobile. Never answer as doesn't look like a legit number to me and no message was ever left.  Few minutes ago brother's g/f called, said that some lady had called and identified herself as a private investigator looking for me.  Brothers g/f had refused to give her any info about me since she didn't know who the lady was.  The lady had left a phone number and case number for brother's g/f to give to me.  Had just hung up from talking to brother's g/f and got another call from the number listed above.  Didn't answer again but this time "Miss Cook" left a message.  Said she was a private investigator and was contacting me in regards to a declined check as well as a breach of contract, being utilized in my name and social.  Local authorities are scheduled to come out to my current address to deliver court documents....etc.  Ended with giving a phone number and case number (the same on that was given to brother's g/f ... phone number 855-825-6748).  No idea how or where they associated brother's g/f with me, phone number is in her name only.

I have been battling with these fools for 1/2 day now. Have received over 40 calls at my job and about 20 on my cellphone. This has turned into a verbal attack on both sides as I refuse to give them information and they call me names. They claim to be from Cash Advance America located in Allentown PA. The guys name is Brandon Johnson but sounds like a foreigner. Claims I committed fraud and wants me to resolve the matter before they come to my work and arrest me.."full of [***]"

I have asked them not to call over and over again and they continue to do so. I filed a complaint with the attorney generals office of PA today and it will take about 4 weeks to hear back but I encourage all that have been called and harrassed to file complaints so that we can put these @$$holes out of business once and for all

i keep receiving calls from this number, but no one on the line. theres only dead air. can someone please tell me how i can block this number. it annoys the hell outta me

I got a call from this number and answered and someone from an overseas call center said that he was calling from the server about errors on my home computer. Obvious scam. Told him he had the wrong #.

I got a call from this # & they left a voice mail. It was a legitimate call, but it seems like this # blocks her actual phone number.

Someone called from this number 1253429c454 at early hours of the morning and leaves no notice. I cannot put the number in my contancts to block them beacause of the letter c in the number!!

My husband started to get this call this week and they are wearing him out. We are also T-Mobile customers.

I have Tmobile as well and started getting these calls from this 253-429-c454 number and even added it to my block list and it still gets through. Think it's time to complain to Tmobile.

They have called me several times but today was the first time I answered. The lady that was on the phone said that I was selected to receive $7, 839 in grant money. She also said that she works for the federal grant department. I believe it was a scam. The wanted to know how I wanted to receive this suspicious grant money and in return wanted my financial information to check if I was the correct person.I told her to recite to me my information because the federal government should already know it and perhaps it was right, I would I verify it. I attempted to tolerate her ignorance for a few minutes,and then I told her I did not have any more time to entertain her skam. With her very interesting Indian accent, she told me that I did not believe her and that I didn't trust her. I told her that she was corrected her observations, and that it was no need for her to call me again. She became a bit upset a repeated her statement and then hung up in my face.

There was a man on the phone with a thick maybe Indian accent who stated he was with Microsoft Certified and I was downloading several I could tell he was reading from a script.  He became agitated when I began asking specific questions as to what computer he was speaking of and how did they know??  These people are hilarious.

YOU are a genius!! Thanks for the help. I've been answering and letting them listen to whatever movie or music I'm currently streaming until they hang up  lol
