This is ridiculous..I have just canceled my western union money transfer after reading the posts.  My story reads almost identical (same payee of Maria L Nuno) THANK GOD I was able to reverse my tranfer of 500.00
This is HORRIBLE

Same person is now advertising on Craigslist - now saying his name is Ceasar Green from Miami
This is what he sent me and I was suspicious of the Western Union transfer so I asked him to call which he did but I missed the call.  He used a 619-356-6634 number and told me this was the safest way to rent!  So glad I googled the name before I sent any money!

Thank you everyone for your comments.  I too almost fell for the scam, but something didn't feel right and I looked up his number.  I am looking for a vacation rental for a ski trip to Colorado.  He was asking me to pay everything up front and when I tried calling the number he gave me, I got sent straight to a voicemail that said, "This person using Magic Jack is unavailable right now," or something.  It made me wonder why an "agent" would be using an IP phone instead of a landline.  Also, whenever I talked to him on the phone, the connection would be terrible and have lots of static.  He has an accent that I thought sounded Russian.  The number he used is 619-356-6634 and he was going by "Glen Schmidt."  E-mail address is schmidtglen59@yahoo.com.  Somehow, my Gmail was able to detect something suspicious and gave me a warning.  It said:

Warning: The content of this message is suspicious. The sender's account may be compromised. Beware of following links or of providing the sender with any personal information.  

I don't know how Gmail works and was able to detect that, but it's pretty cool.  Thank you, Google!

this caller scammed my girlfriend and I out of $350 bucks to stay in "his vermont cabin" in Killington, VT. Goes by Glen Schmidt. Help me find him so I can get my money back and teach him some morals.

He's doing this in Breckenridge, as well as in Keystone.  Wire transfers are directed to Maria Nuno or in the case of the Keystone condo, Florence Adams, an apparently deceased woman in Greenville, NC.  Please report this person to the authorities.

I am still contacting him through this number, he doesn't know I know he is a scammer. I really want my money back and to get this guy. What are the steps to take. I know this number is like an internet phone or something, is it traceable or something?

I was just searching for a condo to rent and was almost scammed but good by this "John" at phomerentals@zoho.com or "Bruno Lincon" at homecomfort01@aol.com. I had a weird feeling the rates for the Park City condo were exceptionally low considering Sundance Film Festival's expected & inflated pricing. I did a search on Google for "phomerentals@zoho.com" and found this site. THANK YOU FOR POSTING & making this scam artist known. This shady operation needs to be SHUT DOWN. I am sorry for all of you who have fallen for his scam. I'm glad this is on his conscious and not mine. What a bad seeded operation & soul, period....

^ This was given to me in an email as confirmation. He also attached a word document with the written "lease" requirements. He probably just made it on a word document in the 25 minutes it took to get back to me. I googled the bank account information name and found this blog.

I did get scammed.  I so wish I would have thought to google the phomerentals name before paying.   But I am glad that I found this website and information before actually going on my vacation.  Have reported the fraud to my credit card company and they are working on it.   Made payment thru paypal.   No more pay pal for me.   Or craigslist.  Too bad people like this don't put there time and energy to better the world.
