I just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Yes, they did hang up after I answered.  I called the number back and got a recording to press 1 if I wanted to be removed.  Claimed it takes  up to 72 hours to be remove.  I'll see if this works.

Rec'd a call wanting to install Security System in my new home in exchange for advertisement in my yard. When asked if he was calling me from Seattle, he stated it was actually Logan, UT> Told him that i have fam in Logan and that's not their area code. He stayed silent. Then i asked him how he got my info, silence for a few seconds, then told me an online service. I asked him to pls remove me from the list and he insisted to get 'verification that i'm the home owner' and told him i wasn't interested and to have a good day. Does NOT sound legit to me. Sorry...pls take me off the list!

If you call them back, they offer the option to press 1, to remove you from their call list.  It doesn't work - the recording just repeats, without pause.  It is a loop, with no real options.

I got a call and polite asked not  to be called again since I was on DNC.  I called back and was asked to press 1 to stop receiving future calls.  Who are these idiots??

I have been on DNC list since inception and recently re-submitted.  Call was from a telemarketer selling security systems.  I asked how they rec'd my number and they talked over me.  I hung up and reported to FCC.

Typically I do not answer unknown phone numbers but was in a rush and did not look before I answered.

This is the same guy that also call from 206-494-9652 it is a cell phone
I had all numbers from area code 206 blocked it seems to be the only
way to get this moron to stop calling

Why am I getting a marketing call on my private cell phone? This needs to stop. I have to pay for this unwanted call from 206-397-1523. I have been on a 'Do Not Call' list for years!

I am on the Do Not Call list but received a call from this TKMK.  No message was left.

Just got a call from this number while at work. Good thing I didn't take it! What a waste. Good to see our Do Not Call listing is working...

This caller never leaves a message, and they are unknown to me.

Received another call from this company today at 11.25am CST on my private unlisted & unpublished house phone which my hubby & I use for only outgoing calls. Have been on the Federal Do Not Call List since it was started & it still does not stop the scammers nor the telemarketers. Will file a complaint on this one & all the others as the calls start at 7.00am & don't stop sometimes until after 11.00pm at nite.

phone rang, number 1-206-397-1523.  Said "Hello" twice, after about three seconds male voice answers "Hello, I am from ATX Security, how are you today?"  I immediatley hung up.  Wish I did not pick up.

"Kevin" from "Home Security Group" called my cell (which is on the do not call list).  Wanted to provide free home security if I put a sign in my front yard.  Asked how he got the number and he said it was provided by other advertisers (pretty vague).  Wanted to know if I already had home security on a monthly basis.

Got the same call all youse guys did too at 11:29 EST today (6/22/2010). I guess it was a real live person talking but as I was juggling other things all I could hear was "special offer" and "security system" before I hung up. Now I just got anther call from a number listed as UNAVAILABLE that I answered but waited to hear if anyone would speak. No one did. Figure I'll just block all calls from area code 206 like one of you mentioned above. Kinda irritating. Gonna use that FTC complaint form too. First time ever had this happen - must be a desperate rogue telemarketer who's stolen a list somewhere...

Yes I got this call on my cell today even though I am registered on the Do Not Call List.

Had a "missed call" on my cell phone. Checked this website and realized it was probably a scam sales call, so did not return the call. Will report it as a do not call violation.

let it ring 3 times before they hung up.  I don't answer strange numbers  like 206-397-1523.  Probably just some chump.  Thats why it's good to have a hone lanline, so if there is an emergency, that's the number that rings.  screw all you spammers and carpetbaggers!
