On your cell phone, you can normally block numbers.  That should keep them from calling you again.

Just got a call from "Kevin."  What phone company do you use?  I am on the Verizon network and I suspect someone working at Verizon sold a list of numbers to solicitors, if that was possible.

Got called and they hung up when I answered.

They just call, I told him, "Sure, I'll take a free security system, but, I'll bet mine is better!" He asked what kind I had? I said, "I have 12 ga. or 9mm or 45 ACP or .380 or 7.62 Russian or .223 and a katana, then I asked which one he wanted to see real close up!" For some reason he hung up?

Recieved this call today 7/12/10 @ 3:11 PM Texas Time. I NEVER answer call from unknow numbers. When I called from the office the recorded messages was "Thank you for calling the Marketing Group, if you would to not recieve further calls please press 1, again Thank you for your call." I was disconnected after that. My fiancee works for AT & T and he told me to NEVER press 1 or anyother confirmation because that is how they verify the number called is an individual.

They called me and quickly said who they were with and what they wanted.  I asked him again who he was with and he said "ATX Security, one of the largest security companies...".  I told him I had never heard of them and I wasn't interested.  He said ok and hung up.

i just got one too from kevin... he asked if i wanted the free security blah blah and i asked how he got my number b/c im on the do not call list and he gave me the 877-763-1880 #. he said he got my # from an "online partner" but he didn't have access to which online partner.

kevin needs to get a life and stop wasting my cell minutes.

This number has been calling my cell.  Never leaves a message.  I am on the block list so this is most irrating.

Got a call from this number on my cell; did not answer and they did not leave a message; the missed call log said 'WA, USA'

SCAM. suspect CID info was spoofed.

using a pre-recorded voice bot to do the calls. give the voice-bot a simple test and it will fail. (e.g. what does a horse eat?)

I have submitted a complaint to the FCC, but don't expect any actions from them like always.

Yep - got a call on my cell from this number this afternoon, 7/20/10.

didn't answer, didn't leave a message.  I've been on the DNC list since it was available, and I've had this cell number for years.

AFTER you've filed a complaint with the FCC, if you're on a smartphone, get an app called "call filter". . it's free.

Put this number in the "filter" list, you never hear it and it gets dumped immediately into voicemail, where of course, they never leave a message.

Do it with all these numbers:  206-397-1523, 402-982-0705, 213-725-5376, 877-763-1880 (Data mining company)

Put them allllllllll in your ignore list.

This number called me and didn't say anything. I said hello a few times waiting for a response. I guess this "kevin" guy likes hearing people's voices.

I called this number on my land line and a recording came on and said to punch "1" and they would never call again.

This number showed up on my cell phone as an attempted call. My phone is restricted to only those numbers in my contact list.I guess the rules against auto-dialing aren't strong enough to stop these calls. They didn't try to leave a message.

Funny thing: Just a few days ago someone was at my door trying to get me to put their security sign on my lawn,"This is just a promotion...". Wasn't interested. That was just a line to get their foot in the door.

I liked how the 50lb black lab/beagle snarling next to me had the salesman stepping back too.

HOW DID THEY GET MY CELL NUMBER???

I just received a phone call and a guy was talking to me about installing a free home security system in my home for people in my neighbourhood. I told him that I live in an apartment and that his area code was way different than mine and he said thanks for your time and hung up right away.

I live in vegas and his area code seems to be from seattle, so I don't see how this "promotion" makes any sense.

i received the call on my cell. oh btw, my cell number is on national no call list.  i am not appreciate that kind of crap
