As soon as I answered a voice asked if i want to accept a collect call. I hung up right away.

My caller ID shows TKMK.  I don't answer it, am about to file a complaint with the AGs office in Austin.  I am on a no call list, too.

Not sure who it is but when they called, they hung up before I could answer. I have been getting those security calls.

I didn't answer since I didn't know the TKMK CO id. They don't stay on long enough for the ans.sys. to pick up. I'm on the Do Not Call if it is sales.

Disconnected when I answered

Received a call from this unknown number (206-397-1523).  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  By the sounds of the posts, this is a scam.   Grateful I didn't answer, but would be even more grateful if they didn't have my number.   So much for being on the "no-call" list.

bj, I think you're absolutely right. This is nothing more than a scam. They called me about 2 months ago with that same deal and when I informed the caller that I live in an apartment and therefore can't do that, he hastily hung up. Didn't say so much as a quick "Thanks for your time," "Sorry to bother you," a simple "Goodbye" or anything. Just disconnected. They've called again today but I didn't answer. I still live in the same apartment. What idiots!

It was a telemarkerter. Said hi sname was "Keith" and was "GE alarms" They are selling alarm systms and are requesting to place signs on your property for display.  By allowing them, they'll hook you up with a free alarm system.  Be very cautious with people or businesses you don't know. They can use this to  do home invations. it was a call placed to my CELL PHONE.

This number called me after I responded to several automobile for sale posts on Craigslist, where I provided my cell number as a contact.  I did not answer, and no message was left.

i noticed a missed call on my cell phone..and it was from 206-397-1523 so i called back and they said if i would like to block future calls from them in the future press 1... so i did.. must be a telemarker!

Received text messages from 206-397-1523 saying "sorry, Ill call back later"  4th time this week.

Continual disturbance from this alledged company offering a free home security system.

I think this is a scam.  Phone call starts out as "Thank you for returning the call, if you don't want future calls..."  Of course, I hung up.  I'll probably have a huge charge on my bill now.
