Called and asked if I would like to buy a used umbrella for rainy days.  Scamers.

Please do not trust any of the callers from this number or any number that claims to be from microsoft that claims you are experiencing errors. I found out last year that microsoft outsources it's services through a company in India. They are definitely SCAMMERS!!!!!!! I fell for their scam and it could have been costly. Fortunately, my bank was very understanding and cooperative and I got the matter resolved. I personally called Microsoft and they explained to me that they would never contact me by phone if I was prone to having a problem, because they don't have the access to look at anything on my computer without my consent. Although, if they uncovered a default with their product they would probably contact you by mail or e-mail, based on what you submitted on your registration at the time of purchase or ownership. Just let these fools know that you are aware of their scams and to quit calling you. Best thing would be to call Microsoft and report them. Let microsoft know their phone number of the caller and the content of the call. This the only way this will stop. Hopefully, Microsoft brings their business for outsourcing back to America.  Actually, the best response is to tell them that you don't own the computer anymore. This is a good challenge to have them explain to you how they got any signals about errors on your computer. I've done it and it works; they simply hang up and normally will not call you back. If you are having a problem with microsoft errors, call them yourself. Good Luck.

They would have gotten into your bank account and transferred money to their account from the State Bank of India. Microsoft does support services, but you have to contact them with your problem; they won't contact you by phone. The San Antonio caller is truly from India and is working for a company that Microsoft outsources their services. Continue to beware!

these people are obviously criminals. I am on the do not call list (which I beleive to be a joke) and whenever I get a call from an uknown number I question it. The only people who pester people with autodialers are criminals.

I got a call from this phone number this morning stating they were with Windows and they have been monitoring my account for the last 2 weeks and i have been getting update info and not accepting it and if I didnt walk through the steps with him to get this corrected my computer would contact a virus and the screen would go black. He wanted me to log into my computer at that time.. I refused to do this and he started to become angry and demanding I do this.. Once I told him I was recording this call as all my calls are set up to record he hung up...  

The "Grandma" scam. I had to say hello twice, then a young male voice says. "Hello? Grandma, how are you?" I said "Since when do I have a grandson in Texas?" and hung up.

I received a call from this number, caller I.D. says Texas. I answer an no one is there. I call the number back blocking my number to them and the recording says i 'm sorry the number you have dialed is no long a working number/ or has been disconnected please hang up and call your operator, This is a recording.

Numerous calls from this number so I finally answered. No response when I said hello like 10 times then it hung up. When I called the number back miraculously my call could not be completed as dialed, WTF?

This is the 3rd time I'm reporting the same woman calling me re: my utility bill, just from a different phone number.  She's been calling on/off for weeks on my home phone (which most likely she got from the yellow pages).  She'll call and tell me she's representing my South Jersey Gas bill (although the phone numbers she calls from are in San Antonio, Texas).  She has an Asian/Indian accent.  I always ask her to put me on the DO NOT CALL list or that I'm not interested and she'll either say "Ma'am this is my first time calling you" or she'll just hang up on me.  I've blocked 2 other numbers and low and behold, she's called from a third.  My boyfriend has even cursed her out, told her flat out it's a scam and not to call us anymore, and she just hangs on the phone and has the nerve to say "Are you done yet?  I'm trying to save you money".  UGH!  I can't take these people!  I've reported it to the FCC, almost every website I can think of, posted it on Facebook, added my phone number to the DO NOT CALL list but NOTHING will get rid of her!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received the call from this number and thought it was funny. How long have you stayed on a phone line waiting for Tech services to finally pick up. So the idea that a India sounding voice calls you to let you know that over the past week someone was using your computer to scam others and he wants to help. He stated that he was technical support windows. I asked if he could tell me that IP address or MAC address of the computer he is talking about and he did not have that info. He ask that I turn on my computer so he could show me. I just said window yes, then called him a dumb ass, and said I have all Linux systems. I wish I had more time to F-with him. I could have linked him in to the honey pot and F- his computer instead. I just want them all to DIE. I see that they do not list Scamers in call type.

My son received this call while I was at work.  We had just downloaded new Windows software, so he thought the caller was legit.  Turned on our computer and gave the guy full access to it.  UGH!  My son called me to tell me what he was doing ... I told him to shut the computer down and turn off the internet router as it was a SCAM.  He did.

We called Microsoft and they were able to help us delete the malware that the caller placed on the computer.  Our virus protection, as it turned out, was out of date by a month!  Anyway, BEWARE and be sure your teenagers are educated about these scams!

Called and said I had a problem with Windows.  I replied "my Windows are fine but my door is bad".  Guy called me a bit.. and hung up. Guess they don't have a sense of humor!

I just recieved a call from a person with an acsent which sounded middle eastern. They told me that my computer was sending them an error message and they were going to tell me my computer ID #. I asked him to verify he was from Microsoft. He directed me to another person who he said was his supervisor. I restated my last statement for them to verify they were from MS and he asked me how I wanted him to do that. I told him to give me a phone # I could reach them and I would have my IT department contact him tomorrow. They immediately hung up!

20 phone calls from this number.... talk about computer issues that they would like to help etc., anytime I ask how they got number or who they are....they hang up.

The caller said that he represented Microsoft and that my computer had a severe problem that he could correct if I went on-line with him.  I asked him to call me back in 3 hours.  I called Microsoft--they said it was a scam.  They never call people about their computer problems--people call them!

This number claimed they were the IRS & that legal proceedings were being taken again "insert name" (It actually said insert name) Very bad automated connection

This number has been used since 2010? Why is it still allowed to be used for this scam? I called the number back and it has been disconnected. They call me everyday and the guy today said he has never called me before but it is the same guy I can tell by his voice. Also he got VERY angry and unprofessional when I called him on the scam. He told me to shut up and he all but told me that my husband was stupid (not catching what was going on with my computer) that is my husbands job. LMAO. Something needs to be done. Who do we report this harassment to?? and why have they not been stopped it has been over a few years..

No name, No game.      Typically that "sort" of behavior is strong evidence of a scam.   Scram scram away!

Call from 210-280-8487. Claimed Microsoft calling as computer broadcasting virus, etc.  I said "really, oh my god, can u see my computer, tell me what to do, etc".  When he realized I was insincere, he hung up☺.  This is about 3rd time in a month.
