With so many people switching to broadband phone lines/VOIP, this may be someone actually trying to get ahold of you.  My parents have Time Warner VOIP as their main phone service, their number is blocked, and this number appears when they call.

this lady just called my wifes phone saying she wanted to fu*k our baby(we have a 5 month).  how in the world did she know we have an infant?  someone needs to stop this creep!!!!

Call to my cell phone from this number. Sounded like a fax machine. Called back and got a busy signal.

I received a call from this number twice last night at 4:00am and 4:02 am.  Did not leave a message.  When I tried to return the call the number would not go thru.

They called me today I did not answer. thesse guys are sill around. We need to get them outlawed.

I received 2 calls this moring from 213-291-1900 Tried to call bank and all I got was a buisy signal

I ignored it as I wasn't familiar with the number.

I remember a scam from a few years back where when you answered a call you would  be billed by your phone service carrier who paid the scammers that were setup as a 3rd party service providers.

So I never answer unfamiliar numbers.

213-291-1900 showed on my caller ID and I ignored, as I was on the phone at that time, then there's a voice mail indicator, so I thought I will check VM later.  But they called again.

So I ignored again.

Later, I checked VM, it was just someone hanging up.

I don't know that number, but if they don't care to leave a message, I don't care about them either.  Let them waste their time.

when i returned the call the message the call could not go through as dialed.

I got the call on my cell @ 7:13 this morning and a guy asked for my wife, using her maiden name. That was wierd, then he gave me a name, steven i think, and asked me to tell her he called. when i asked how he knew my wife, he responed, "just a friend". This was wierd, since he called on MY cell phone. I figured it had to be a prank of some sort.

I don't know why so many people are missing this,  but it is not one person calling from that number!  That is a generic number that some internet phone services (like Skype) use to fill in for a regular number.

keeps calling and won't stop...tried calling back, a california number but no answer as what I am now seeing from everyone else

i keep receiving a call from a jamaican number that keeps harrassing me.. he first started sayin i had a package from UPS. then said i won money.. and he called me one time from this number .. so idk who these people are or this person??????? but he buggin!

just got a call from this number... 2:20 central time. no one said anything when i answered.

called several times, 2 or 3 ring then hung up !!!

I thought this info may be of use to you all. This number is used by Skype. I recently had to leave the country again and I signed up for Skype unlimited calling to USA landlines. I checked what the caller ID was and this number came up.
So I am guessing these people that are calling you are calling from Skype.
It's dissapointing that people are abusing the service.
You call from your computer meaning that the origin of call could be from any timezone, hence the strange hour of calls you are receiving.

Yea i got off of work yesterday and found out this # had called me at like 4:30 PM... When i woke up this morning i found out that they called again at 3:34 AM! Who are these people and how do they get ahold of you?

Based on the 6 pages of comments -- sounds like it is a skype/voip number used which is being used by spammers.  I simply let it roll to voicemail and ignore.  Thank you to all these posters which was very information for me that this is a bogus/spam number.  Love technology
