Push the number "6" to block calls from this number.   That's what I did and it worked for me.

They called me 3 times but i was to chicken to answer it cus didnt recognize the number but it being jail makes sense cus i got a couple friends in there yeahyaa

I receive calls from people in jail and Prison every day. If you received this call from the phone number (213) 543-0000 one of three things is happening; 1.) You know someone in jail or they know you - CALL JAKE (408)269-0009. 2.) It is a calling card for a jail management system using the phone number on your caller ID, - Call Jake (408)269-0009 3.) The inmate is bored and is calling any or all the phone numbers that he may remember. (Trust Me - These guys (and gals) have nothing better to do than remember old stuff and write it down. IN ALL CASSES RECEIVING CALLS FROM (213)543-0000 - CALL JAKE (408)269-0009 @ JAKE'S BAIL BONDS.

Someone called from this number l ain't answer cause I didn't know who it was. Then they tried to call from a 866# someone help me. Cause I was skeptical about accepting cause my service is with Metro pcs and I was unsure I'll be billed.

Got call from this number last night and it was someone identifying themselves as being  in jail or prison.  Going by the area code, it's California and I know no one in prison in that state.  Blocked the number off my phone so as to not receive any future calls from this number.

Pat UR completely wrong. The number in question here is a calling card number in which an inmate at a penal facility is allowed to purchase in order to call family and friends or loved ones. Sometimes an inmate may have the wrong number therefore if you except the call tell them that you don't know them they will stop calling you. If you never accept the call and tell them that it's the wrong number then they're going to keep calling you. Pat inmates that work as telemarketers would be calling you from an 800 number or a unavailable or blocked number. Those numbers you cannot call back because of reaching the inmates.

This is confusing, who's number is it inmate, telemarketer, inmate hired as a telemarketer???? Or a bails bondsman trying to make a sale. Confused......

I received a call from this number three six times today, as well as six voicemails. I did not answer. The voicemails were an automated voice telling me to press several numbers if I did not "wish to receive call from this institution." I just blocked the number on my cell.

This is a number used by Securus to allow calls from jails. Evil company, but not important for identification purposes.

None, I did not answer, but I researched phone number on Bing then later called only for non-response.  I do not know what these losers are up to, but this harassment & this trash better leave me alone.

I am getting calls from an inmate in the Bibb County LEC jail here in Macon Ga. One call in twelve might come thru. Most are nothing but garbled noise & then it hangs up. They are calling card calls from inmates.
