i got the call today at work and this [***] sounded soooo nice and polite and i wasnt gonna give any info at all but he knows how to speak and got the info out of me too. cant remember his name though.

he did give me my credit card balance after i gave him all the info and he said i am approved for the low rate. he said because of my really good credit history. whats funny is that my credit card has been maxed out for a longtime and i dont remember when was the last time i made a payment!!!

he asked about other credit cards i have, good thing i dont have any others because i would have probably given out all of them! and when i asked to spell the name of the company he said sure and hung up.

Je viens de recevoir l'appel de cette compagnie18006996217 Un homme se nomme Paul Handerson avec un fort accent indien. Me disant qu'il peuvent réduire le taux d'interet sur ma carte de crédit. Et j'ai tout de suite fait un appel a ma compagnie émétrice de la carte de crédit. Et il mon dit que ce n'est pas de la fraude mais que il charge 500.00$ et plus pour baissé le taux. Si vous recevez un appel comme ça racrocher car ils sont très insistant

i got a call from LTA....was takin too gay named PAUL HANDERSON..he was a sweet talker but a scamer as well..he asked mee about my card number..i refused..soo he said that ..i just sound like her grand mother....which make me fell emotional..i landed each and every information to him..after  few minuits he said that he want 's to keep me on hold as he wanted to make an approvel to givee me a lower intrest rate..after few minuits ..he said that he would send me some paper works at my door..didnt reseved those papers yet..SHAME OF HIM

I don't have caller I.D. but I got a call like all the above today.  Guy calls. I ask from what company he's calling and he says LTA.  They can drop my credit card % to 6%...my "scammer radar" goes into high gear so I told the guy he'd have to call me back.  He just did and I didn't have time to check the name out on the net.  While we chat a bit, I check on the net and no hits on first page for anything he's offering.  So I told him to call me back tomorrow after I talk with my partner.  Guy is patient but I sense a bit of frustration in his voice.  He answered all my questions about where he was calling from (company based in Arizona) told me he only had my name and address - but he knew that we have just had a bad snowstorm - now my "scammer radar" is into ultra high gear and I'm thinking he's at the corner of my street...I did not answer his persistent question of which credit card I have.  Looks to me like these telemarkerters (?) took a break for a couple of months and are starting over...

hey if we are here to use Ur credit card so when the customers gave us his CC information and if we are scam then on that time we stole some money there is so many technologies and you also know that, to charge any credit card it only takes some seconds to steal some money but we won,t do that because we also believe that God Watching us if we do any thing wrong so we also have to pay some thing not on that time but in future for sure, that,s the only thing I have to say that we are not a scam and mind your language...!!!

i got a call frm them a i tawkd 2 a guy named sean matthew he is really much clever he can easily play with yr mind and hw he make comfortable to me oh my goodness he really helpd me out by giving me the low intrest on my cibc visa  from 19.99 to 2 percent fr 15 months as well he even saved me the money frm intrest his finincial advisor gve me the saving of 1500$ on a debt of 8000 as well i pray for him he helpd me to pay off my card easliy thanks sean matthew and thanks lta

Got same call from person named John Allen..got my info & transferred me to his financial accountan named Maddy Park! i believed him and seen eye to eye with him.. cant believe thier negotiator get me the lowest rate that i couldn't gt by my own..

No, this place is a scam. Clues:
(1) If VISA wants to lower my rate, they will contact me, not some 3rd party.
(2) If VISA contacts me, they will not need me to reveal my entire card number.
(3) People with East Indian accents don't usually have Western names.
I avoided this scam because i will not give out my credit card info to anyone who calls me. If i call someone, i likely know who they are. Anyone at all who uses 411.com can find me and call me. I made up a card - "CIBC VISA", and they told me they had my record. Doh!

I recorded part of this call and reported it to RCMP. Hope they nail the !@#$ers!

Wandaring, No never participated in any online surveys and anybody can sell personal information - even our banks - I don't think that people working in banks are all angels!!  Not too long ago a director in a bank lost her job due to fraudulant activities (stealing money from bank accounts).  Also, today scammers are pretty intelligent people and technology today is an easy tool for them!!

Same here.  The guy told me to f off when I to be put on the do not call list.
