they had billed my card before I finished talking to them!!! Banks do not call to lower interest rates....EVER!!!!! This is a total scam. Billed account 508.00.

I received a call from a company named as L.T.A they said that they will be providing lower intrest on my existing credit cards i provided them with them with my info and today i m a debt free person because i had my intrest rates lowerd. This is the firstcompany who i think is legitimate company which helps people in lowering down their intrest rates on their credit card and giving them a debt free life.

Thanx to LTA who help me to get lower interest rate on my credit card.... i have heard lots of [***] about this company but the truth is different, they are really helping ppl like me. they have charge me a 1 time fee of $695 after the service but on the other side i saved more than 3k. i would say they r not scammer.

I received a call before 5pm est today. I was immediately suspicious and asked where they got my "profile" from, and if they had info on me why did I have to answer their questions. I told the caller,( whose name I did not get due to the fact that I could hardly understand him) I had a zero balance at which time the call was abruptly ended before I could find out any more info.  I checked the last number that  called my line and the message was that it was no lover in service.The number  is 306 228 3622. Hope this helps someone else.

I just got a call from Joe Blake & Jonathan Parker ( who have heavy asian accent) as if they would have English Names. Wanting to lower my mom visa card. Ask for a few info, put me on hold..came back with our balance,last payment, next payment..so i believed him...until he never asked to speak with the card holder...she was so sure that i was the actual card hold..so iasked him to call back in 1 hour as we were busy with supper..i immediately cancelled the card....the guy calls back...yelling at me that we cancelled the car...how the hell would you know i cancelled the card...if you didn't try to use it....so i hanged up before he even got a chance to yell even more....you;re upset..because i cancelled my own card??? how is that???

Yes, it is a fraudulent call. They called claiming to be from the Visa Card Consumer office and wanted to lower my interest rate on my visa. The representative said I would have to put more money on the card in order to be able to qualify. A man spoke with me for a while and then suddenly someone else (Justin) was handling my call and saying they felt I wasn't comfortable speaking with the first operator. I said that wasn't true at all and he continued to repeat many of the questions the fist person asked. He kept making mistakes with my name and what type of visa I had, but he did know how much was on my card. At some point they asked for the 3 digit security code and that's when the alarm bells went off. My bank said they don't have any affiliation with this group and the fraud department confirmed that it was a fake. Beware! Ultimately I cancelled my card just to be safe. It's a pain, but somehow they got hold of the number and I don't want there to be any problems.

Well...i just got a call from a Daniel Reitsma...apparently from Pheonix, Arizona! This is definitely a scam, I played with his head a little! He was trying really hard and I must admit he did a great job but I am all to familiar with these scams. NEVER give any personal information over the phone is my motto! He really wanted to make me a Platinum Referral Agent in which I would receive 20% for every referral I send their way!  I would even receive a commission cheque and have my own website...oh....did I mention there would be a charge to my credit card every month for the website and what ever happened to the privacy act??? I can simply give away my friends and family information to these people!!! Clearly illegitimate and illegal!!

I just got scammed out of $491.00 by this Lindquist Tax Accounting Company. I received a call yesterday - caller made big promises re reducing my credit card interest. I spoke to them at 2:00 and within the hour they charged my credit card account with $491.00. I have been trying all morning to cancel this so called service to no avail. There seems to be no way to contact this company - not even on the computer - all the computer sites I found deal with people being scammed - the phone number they gave me 1 866 583 9788 is useless = a robot of some sort saying your call is important to us etc etc. I hope others do not get scammed as I have done.

I got a call from LTA today.  I did give them my information, but after reading all of this...I am going to cancel my cards.  How stupid could I be...I knew as soon as they asked for the # on the back of the card...I should of hung up.  The number that called me was 1-250-324-8131.

I received a call from this company this evening, the caller "John Love" gave me the pitch about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. My gut feeling was not to give him any info, but this person was able to access my info and told me what my card #, birthdate, and balance on my account was. He was getting irritated with me as I was refusing to give him the code on the back of the card saying, "I have all your info I just need to verify I am speaking with the right person." I refused and told him I was going to disconnect the call as he was being rude and disrespectful and asked him to remove my # and info from his database. I immediately called my credit card company and reported my card stolen, had it cancelled and let them know I was contacted by this company. About an hour after the first call, "John" calls back again from a private number, asking me what I had decided, I advised him I was still not interested and if he calls again I will be reporting him to the police and better business bureau, and he still continued to argue with me! No reputable company would make light of someone's unease in releasing personal info. I am quite sure this is a scam

Hello All,if you provided any information to these robbers, you must cancel your credit card immediately--of any or all cards you may have given over the phone, and make a report to credit card fraud department.  Never give out information on the phone, the bank of credit card already have your information and they encourage you --if you have doubt---to call back the number on the back of your own credit card.  God Bless

They wanted to reduce my interest fee on my Master Card . I am from Montreal Canada. I gave them a lot on infos and then decide that I was strange all those questions. I cancelled my credit card right
after the phone call.

The same ideas, the same tricks, the same methods, the same scam, as reported above.

I promised myself to be unforgiving although I did not get caught.
I shall do all I can to put the Canadian and US Federal Police on the case.
I think we all had enough of this nonsense.

I had the same type of call on may the 8 2012. I folowed all the procedure with 4 different persons to learn at the endthat they would have a new credit card for me from MNBNA to reimbusre my CIBC credit card. The interest rate would be 0% for 10 months and 5,9% after and they wuld chare me 995$. I had accepted first but 2 hours later i called CIBC to cancel my credit card. The guys who talked with me knew a lot of informations on my cards and i dont know why. Anyway i wasn't to sure of that deal and i cancelled my card so they won't be able to put anythings on it. I just lost almost 2 hours on the phone but its a low price to pay for the experience
