They called, I immediately ignored. They'll likely go away.. If you answer the calls, they know it's an actual usable number. They likely use autodialers, best thing is to not answer any call at all, not even the first one. I've ignored spam, telemarketer, survey, and bill collector (not for me) calls, and they usually cease after a day or two, sometimes a week.

Called tonight asking for my partner.   I said she doesn't take surveys, but I'd be happy to.

The woman was polite, and told me the survey was geared to specific individuals, but thansk for my offer to take the survey.

If the article below is true, I had one of these "push surveys" committed against me during the Meg Whitman gubernatorial run.    They ask you questions, but really they are subtle (or not so subtle) slams against the other candidates.

I can't say for sure if this were the case with this particular "survey".

There people called several times, about the 4th time I said, OK.  The questions are very biased, start kind of tame - "who would you vote for in xyz race if it was today",  and got really bad as they went along....I'm as liberal as they come and I thought the questions were very slanted towards the Dems and basically slamming the Cons.  About 5 minutes into it I got bored and hung up.  I figured they were trying to get me wee-weed up and then the next call would be someone asking for a donation.

I too have been plagued by these calls to my cell phone recently. I have Tmobile and asked them to block the number.... no problem. They also offer a plan ($4.99/mo) to block other numbers if you want. But they said they would go ahead and block this number for me immediately. Apparently the federal laws have also recently changed regarding telemarketing to cell phones. To avoid telemarketers even on your cell phone (though this company is doing a "survey" so it doesn't apply - you'll need to block them) you need to call the Federal Do-Not-Call list (1-888-382-1222) to list your number.

I just got called by this number around 2:20pm PST on18 Feb 2012.

Receiced a call from this number several times.  A lady calls claiming that she is from a research center.  She stated that her name was A. Gomez.  If the calls continue, I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.

Don't know who these people are but I'm am really getting tired of them calling me late at night! I just got another call from this number at 10:00pm tonight with no answer on the other end. Very irritating!!

several calls from this number with no message left behind. I'm not inclined to deal with them. I went to this company's web site. Here is why they say they are calling us. Make up your own mind if you want to deal with them.

Please stop calling and not leaving a message

This phone number keeps calling my 11 year olds phone.  We actually got charged for International Calls from this number as we tried to call them back to find out who this is.

Just got a call from 1-231-224-2031 too. They left no message.

Don't want calls from this company and they just hang up if they get my recorder.

This call number 231-224-2031 has been coming up on our caller ID 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of weeks.  The caller ID name was Research Center.  I finally answered it this evening to see who it was and to tell them to quit calling.

The lady said she was doing a short survey.  I told her I would answer her questions if they never called us again.  Here were the questions:

1.  Wanted to know my ethnic background.  - Told her
2.  Wanted to know if I was 18 or older.  Told her yes
3.  Wanted to know if I was registered to vote.  Said yes
4.  Wanted to know my age, which I refused to answer.  She tried to get an age range, like 25-30, 30-50, etc.  I refused to even participate in that at all.
5.  She wanted to know if I thought the country was going in the right or wrong direction.  I told her the wrong direction and I don't think she liked my answer, because she said that this completed the survey and I made her again promise to take me off of their call list.  We shall see.

They call all the time. So tired of them calling.
