Am being harassed by frequent calls from Mountain West Research Center. I am a writer and the telephone on my desk rings constantly because of these survey people. The frequent interruptions are more than annoying -- they are interfering with my work.

This has got to stop!!!

They keep calling....they maybe TROLLING(spoofing).....Republicans(fake Democrats), Democrats(fake Republicans) , or just some pollster.....Here is what have to say to Whoever it is....US Soldier died to give me "the right to the secret ballot.".....I am not telling you How I will vote.......and I will not be played.

They are awful! I got these surveys that ask me to rate radio songs all the time.  It takes forever.  Their computer system will ring our phone over 20 seconds until someone answers from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. CST. and we have sleeping young kids! We have asked to be taken off the list many, many times but it seems to no avail! They lie! This had been going on for 3 months - daily now.  I wanna get a class action suit against them if I can.  I am seriously considering cancelling my land line or get VOIP phone w/ new number just to stop this.

They just called my house five, count them FIVE times tonight. It is at the point that my father had to speak to them and tell them to stop. This is absolutely bogus and RUDE. They need to stop. Thy call every day and its almost like harassing someone. I'm about to call the police or something.

The number to call lisyed above is correct.  Press 8 for do not call list. You get a voice mail. We'll see if it works.

Has anyone had luck contacting the district attorney's office regarding this caller? When I do answer there is no one there yet, they still call every night.

I have seen this number on my caller ID a bunch over the last week. So being in the mood to seriously F with someone. I answered and it was another research company. They asked for me by name so I said I do not know any one by that name. I did not get my handful of calls today. Maybe you guys can try that. Or what I did with the other research (who I originally came here looking for) company was speak slang and drop tons of 4 letter words. Don't cuss them just talk like a savage discussing a basket ball game. IT WORKS!

how much do they get paid for these non-answered calls ? I don't think they want to talk to anyone.they just want a number list.

Called my cell 10-26-2012 at 6:25 PM, I didn't answer it (I never answer a call to my cell if I don't know who it is).  The day before, I had a call from 253.246.8553, another I don't know who it is.  Strange to get two calls in two days from totally out of the way #s (I'm in the 814 central PA area).

Received a call for a "post election" survey.  Was asked questions regardingt the election results, whether I supported mayors against illegal guns,for whom I voted (with names of candidates) to include US Senator in Virginia.  Then I was asked for whom I voted for House of Representative.  I asked why the woman was not providing candidate names for this office when she had provided names for all of the previous offices.  She just kept repeating the same question without names despite my repeasted questioning as to why she had given me candidate names for all of the previous offices.  I asked to speak with her supervisor; she put me on hold and never returned.  When I called the number on "caller ID," it was answered with a message to go to their website:  www.mwrcenter.com.  I have replied "UNKNOWN" below because it was a survey regarding political issues.  Since you do not allow me to choose "Other" or modify a Call Type, I am not sure which one to select.

I got an unknown call from 2137727957- when i recevied that they left as it is !

Which country & what purpose? is it any hacking or suspiciious one

These people call constantly.  They're a market research company that will research anything for anyone with enough money to pay their fee.  They don't care who pays the fee, Republican, Democrat, Pro-Life, Pro-Choice.  As long as the money is there.

Wife and I just got a landline, so we get calls for the person who used to have our number.

I kept the guy on the line as long as I could "Linda? Oh she isn't here...She'll be back in a few hours."
Then I went on and on asking him dumb questions, it was great fun

Then I called them and left a message for Damien, since that was the name I hated most out of the choices (press 1 for josh, press 2 for etc) and told him I want to move to Idaho from Boston to work for them since my small survey business wasn't doing as well as I'd expected.

Received many calls from this research group,calling 2-3 x a day,never anyone on the other end. I no longer answer when they call, hope it stops soon!

They represented themselves as part of Gmail saying account was hacked.  It wasn't, they were scammer

Listen you haters, you have two choices when I call you either 1 take the survey and we stop calling you or 2 refuse and continue to get calls till we no longer do the survey in your area.  It is your choice stop being so damn rude, we have a job to do, and all you do is complain and moan because you think that the do not call list saves your [***] as it won't. Pick up your flipping phone grow the [***] up.  I for one work at Mountain West and yes we may get on your nerves, but we don't do our job we don't get paid, same thing goes you don't take our survey we get fired.   Yes its tough just suck it up you putz.

OR, your company could take others into consideration.  People don't want to be bothered with this [***].  Myself included.  Its quite funny that your whining about us not wanting to answer your surveys, but you tull US to "suck it up."  Why don't you "suck it up" and stop complaining or find another job.  You have no reason to [***].  WE are not calling YOU.
