They called at 10:11 p.m.; now, I'm unable to go back to sleep.

Constant call at all hours of the day and night. I refuse to pick up, and when it goes to voice mail the person does not leave a message.

Called me for the first time on a Sunday, twice. I picked up the second time to a stammering man asking for a name I didn't recognize. I told him he had the wrong number and to please remove this number from the call list. His response: "Ah, that's ok." and we were done.

Anyone responding to this post is having a bad experience with this irritating Mountain West Research Center's phone calls and at their wits end.  It is apparent that this company's behavior/operational practice is sanctioned by management of the Mountain West Research Center.  It's my sense that the majority of us have no idea what the real purpose of this business entity other than generating revenue.  Mountain West Research Center may serve a multiple of purposes.  Aside from being a public nuisance, there may be aspects of illicit purposes being served.

So, the facade offered by Mountain West Research Center to remove your name from their call list is nothing more than an outward appearance meant to deceive.  In effect, a wast of time.  As one of the responders cited, by causing a greater expense for this company to make these calls may discourage the effort to continue calling you.  But who has the time to do that.  The effort should be made to determine a definitve way of stopping Mountain West Research Center and companies like them.  Perhaps, on the basis on their operational behavior should be bought to the attention of the FCC (Federal Communication Commission).  It may be worthy of an investigation to learn more about this organization and their questionable practices.  Perhaps, turning to jurisprudence in a Class Action Law Suite, may not be out of the question.  Consider the possibilities.

They are relentless and call at terrible times.  The website is www.mwrcenter.com.  To get off their call list you have to call them -   Phone: 208.232.1818.

We have been getting these calls 3-4 per day for months no matter what actions I take to stop it.  They keep calling.  I gave up, and got creative.  I now blow an air horn into the phone before answering it.  The dogs don't like it much, but I'm pretty sure it has an effect on the other end.

This is more than likely a survey company with a political poll.  Most of the time they refuse to disclose who is asking for the information.  I won't respond to this type of questioning.

Call went to voice mail and no message was left.

Their website shows a Pocatello, Idaho location for their offices but it is a Michigan area code for their phone number.

They asked for a registered voter and and asked permission to ask questions.  Then asked for year of birthdate.  When I told them it was confidential information and I would not be disclosing it, they hung up quickly.

Interesting that so many are receiving these calls as I am also.  Even received one on a Saturday evening when most have taken a break from harrassing.  I don't think I will email to be removed as I do not wish to disclose that info either.  Also will not call them to be removed, as in time it will automatically exhaust itself.  I never answer unknown calls, and unfortunately this is one of many.

i got a call from resereach center  they  wanted to know  if would answer   a few questions   i said no if athe numbernswer the questions  i w0uld not  get  any more calls  since i said no  they would   be calling me back the number is  231 224 2031

Did you actually have any luck being taken off their list?  We've asked them three times to be taken off their list and we still get several calls a day.

I finally answered one of these calls after they had been calling sometimes twice a day and told the woman not to call my number again...that I wasn't interested in participating in anything they were doing. Fat lot of good that did! They haven't called as much as before, but they certainly haven't stopped like they were told.

The call came in at 9:05pm PST.  A little late for a Research call.   When I answered the phone (I  am a business) I could hear other voices in the background.  Sounds like its a BIG call center with lots of pesky insects trying to invade our privacy.     I suggest adding their number to the DO NOT ANSWER contact on your iPhone and whenver you hear that DUCK call you'll know its just another creep (since you can't say [***]) on this website.    After a few dozen times of never answering their calls again....maybe they will move on to someone else.   Or you can call the suggested number 208-232-1818 ext 7699 and request that they remove your number from their call list.

I called this number 208-232-1818.  One of their options (8) is to be taken off the call list.  We will see how this works.  If they have this option on the menu, it is telling.....
