I've also been getting these calls every day and even on the weekends.  
I called my cc company and changed my account number.  They also found it strange that she did not identify herself as a rep of my cc company.  They also took me off of solitations per telephone calls.  I asked for her name and she said Angela Smith and then I asked for a number to call her back and she got off the phone really really quick!  I like the idea of saying I am with the fraud department to see what would happen!  Thanks everyone for your stories and I'm passing all this info onto my friends and family.  Have a great day!

i added this number as a blocked number in my phone... and they still somehow manage to get through

She called me and tried to verify my cc number!  I have told them to stop calling my cell!

A guy called from this number and he asked me if I am not using my visa card for a long time, and it ends with ****. I told him I am still using it, then he hang up the phone.

I received a call from them this morning, it was actually the second time in 4 days.  This morning I decided to answer thinking it could have been important and a foreign guy tells me that since I was a valued customer of my Visa account I would be getting a discount card that I could use anywhere that would give me  up to 50% off and also a $25 Walmart giftcard that doesn’t expire.  I kept on asking him ok so how does this work what do I need to do, and he told me they wouldn’t ask for no banking info for security purposes and that was because I was a valued customer.  Also I asked how did they get my info and he said it was either a debit card, or credit card that I was using ending in my account number.  I told him no, and he told me about the $1 shipping fee, and I told him no because it was iffy and that there were too many scams.  Then he just hung up on me……I just hope they don’t continue calling like they have to other ppl on here

Had received six calls so far then I goggled and find this site.  How do we stop them?

I too have recently purchased items from Arbonne and am getting numerous calls from this same number. I'm wondering if there is a connection??? I will be emailing my Arbonne rep and also contacting the company to have my info deleted from their records. The only way to put the hurt on the people is to go to:

Register a complaint every time you get a call from them or document every call & list it on your complaint. Be sure to document time, dates, caller id, any conversation you might have had, etc. I will be doing this as well after reading what I have read here today. Same experience here.  The first time I received the call I answered and it was a woman with a heavy foreign accent.  I hung up and then proceeded to receive multiple more phone calls from them.  Finally answered, again, simply to get more information in order to report it.  

This time it was a younger sounding man, he claimed his name was Jeff Anderson with the Avalon company, "a major department of Visa, hired to distribute rewards".  There was to be no membership fee, a one time cost of $1 for shipping and all the information was to be included inside the package.  It was to include a $25 VISA gift card as well as a $25 gift card and discounts.  He didn't sound very happy when I said I didn't shop at Walmart and this wouldn't be something I was interested in.

I have received 10 phone calls from these people in the last 4 days.  I have asked each time to be removed from their call list!!  They call at all hours of the day and I tired of it!  The last time they called I told them that this is harassement, the next person that calls me from this number will regret call my number;)

They called me about 10 times within past week. They never leave voice message. I finally picked up the call. And of course: Avalon New York, $25 gift card, last 4 digits from my CC. I told them that I do not want any think.

Doesn't anyone find it curious that this conversation is taking place on a site of a service to find out who owns a given phone number?

I'll be even more curious if this message never makes it to the list.

yeah they are calling me from this number.  They were calling from 201 257 4421  prior to that.  Every day 2 times a day for a week then they switched to this number.  Seems they have many different numbers but the same or similar scam.  Never picked up so I am not sure if they have the last four of my cc.  Prior posters about the 201 calls stated they just made up the last four digits and they really didn't know them.   Personally thinking of changing my cell phone number.  Research on this by myself diclosed this company has been doing this for at least a year and yes it is a scam.  Obviously if they had your full cc numbers there would be no need to get your cc number through this scam.

I only ordered from a new company recently... bought a snuggie.. not sure if it was them that sold my info but they are the only "new" company that I have done business with for years and a week or so later I find myself getting slammed by these constant scammers.

Seriously considering dropping my existing cell number and getting a new one to be rid of these jerks.

I as well recently bought a snuggie. I started wondering if these weird calls I have been getting were related to that recent purchase. (also from the following numbers: 231 224 2009, 818 725 2292 and 201 257 4421).  I wasnt even looking for the connection when I first went to this found this website after I got another sketchy call. Now that I see that more people are getting these calls after having purchased the ever-so-innocent looking snuggie, im convinced thats what it is. I'm going to call their customer service about this and... I have yet to receive the snuggies.  I'm canceling the order and possibly the debit card.  More people should do this as well.  Good luck!

I haven't answered the number.  I ordered my Snuggie over Thanksgiving, and I have yet to receive it...  Is there a way I can complain so they STOP calling?

I'm so glad I found this board!  I just received a call from this number and found nothing when I did a reverse look-up.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I'm not looking forward to the possibility of getting numerous calls a day from these people!  What can be done to stop it?

got a call and said that i won something...silly me said yes abput 3 times before finally telling them that they were crazy...they called again, asking for verification...i d them to never call my phone again.  what i want to know is how they got the last 4 digits of my credit card number...i am sure they were gonna ask for the entire number and more information

this number has called me probably 15-20 times in the past few weeks.  every time they call, i ask to speak to a manager and to be put on the "do not call list."  every time, they reassure me that they have removed my number from their call list, yet a couple days later, they call again, sometimes up to twice a day.  they tell me they're with my credit card company and that i am such a valued customer, i'm eligible for a gas card and holiday shopping card.  anoying...how do you report them?!!?

calls me on the all the time...i have yet to p/u.  im glad that i googled this. it seems im not the only 1!
