Recently also bought a Snuggie and have been getting these calls :-(

I got a call and they said they were going to charge my cc a dollar and i told the lady that she shouldnt be charging and thing to my card and she souldnt be having my cc number in the first place. she said i agreed to this and i didnt at all. she said they record their calls and said " do you want me to listen to it " and i replyed "i dont care i didnt agree to anything" i called ths snuggie company since thats the only way they got my information. SO DONT BUY A SNUGGIE!! and they told me that i was going to be charge twenty dollars for no reason and hung up!... the first call started yesterday which the number reflected this date 2-4-2009 !!! SCAM.. she didnt have the last four of my card she had the frist four which indicates she has all the numbers!!!! CANCLED CARD ASAP!

I received two calls from this woman yesterday with the same thing! I told her I wasn't interested and asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me! My friends are fraudulent activity police detectives and advised me to close my account....which I did! These people are based out of Morley, Michigan. Watch out for these people!!!

I think it has to do with ordering Snuggies!!! I think we found the connection! How do we report these people???

I have received a call from the number 231-732-2642 from a woman with a very thick foreign accent stating there is a $25.00 Walmart gift certificate, she too knew the last four digits of my visa card. I suggested she loose both my card number/telephone number. Same person proceeded to call me again at 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

Yeah, I just ordered a couple of "snuggies" also.  That must be who is calling.  I was duped into signing up for this "reward" program, which they promised $10 cash back.  They immediately charged my card for $16.95.  I will be cancelling and getting my money back.

I also ordered a snuggie about a week ago as well and just started getting the phone calls. They did take out the money for the snuggie, but havent been charged anything else since then. So, If they do happen to have my whole CC number you'd think they would have taken more money out by now. I just think it's a soliciater that just got some information out of us from the website and is trying to scam us to get the rest of the information that they can't get from the website. I do have one question....out of all the people that have ordered a snuggie, has anyone recieved their's yet??

Keeps calling phone. Did the reverse directory and saw all the comments.  Contact your bank and cr card co if you get calls from this number.

The snuggies turned out to be remarkably nicer than I thought (mother-in-law) wanted one, so what the heck, right?  Anyway, now the calls from this number have been non-stop!  Thanks everyone for reporting on this site!

I keep getting a call as well from 2317322642 only thing my ph rings once and then the caller hangs up never been able to speak with anyone i have tried calling the number back all i get is a message saying the person i am calling can't take my call at this time please leave a message i am about to do that but i work for a collection company and i did a search using one our methods we use to get phone numbers of our deliquent customers it listed this number to a avalon mob marketing company I am thinking of contacting the phone company and reporting it as a harassing phone call...

Me too!!! There ought to be a law against using cell phones for this kind of stuff..

This number has called me 9 times in one week, they let it ring one time and hang up. 2 other times i answered and they said they were from walmart. i yelled at them and they hung up. i want them to stop

I just called snuggie because I read all of your posts and the same thing is going on with me. and a really nice man told me that once you order things from somewhere the companys send your number out to other companies and that is what these telemarketers are.

They call me 4 times a day and I have told them everytime the leave me the eff alone and they hang up and continue to call back. How do I get them to stop?

They call me about 4 times a day.  I had them blocked.

Oh, I just typed that comment then read above that this was connected to snuggie ordering.  Of course!  I bought a snuggie for my girlfriend's bday and have been getting calls ever since now that I think about it.

I also had a horrible time with the snuggie website.  When I ordered it it took me to a screen which I thought was an order confirmation screen.  The screen was deliberately obscure as to what it was telling me.  I clicked the giant "YES" button rather than the smaller "no" one and in doing so I ordered a second one!  I then called and emailed them and got no answer.  Money lost, lesson learned.  They're buy one get one free, so now I have four snuggies!

I would assume these people are somehow with the snuggie company however it is not solely a result of the purchase of a snuggie. This is because i have not bought a snuggie but am also pestered by these similar phone calls. Next time they call i will ask for a business address.

After I bought a snuggie, I started getting these phone calls at least 3 times a day. Didnt know who it was so i didnt answer it. Found out from this website that it was a scam. So, one day they called and I finally answered it. Got a lady that asked for me and said that she was calling regarding my visa account. Since I knew that it was a scam, I didnt let her finish. I told her I knew she was a scam, because I had looked up her phone number I said so put me on your do not call list. She said okay thank you and was about to hang up before I said and let me tell you something else...you call me again I will be calling the athorities and pressing charges for harrasement. That was a little over a week ago and since then the number hasn't called me since. So, if you want them to stop calling, try what I did, it worked for me. And just to be safe, I cancelled my credit card. I suggest you guys do the same. However, I did get my snuggies the other day. So nice. Not worth the harrasing phone calls, but will be nice on those cold winter days. lol
