They are definitely boiler room scammers.Tell them to get lost.

Recorded message said that my credit account was OK and I could take advantage of special rates - asked me to press 1 to speak to a live operator or 3 to hang up. I just hung up.

What good is all the complaining and groaning? These idiots that phone at all hours and with all scams are obviously in violation of the agreement between Sask.Tel and us the contractor. This is harassment and telephone abuse from whomever these idiots are. Everyone is after a cure-all. Well, for me I am filing charges with the Law on this one. Sask.tel should be questioned over there privacy commitments, customer satisfaction is not being fulfilled, there is another let down from our famous phone company.(what was your fiscal surplus again? sk.tel.) Any way this will open a whole new can of worms. Let's go after the phone company on this one. Obviously the Better Business Bureau would also be a plus to have on our side, and if need be, the Police should be notified. This is harassment.In Canada that is illegal, it is an indictable offence, Where are our rights? The internet has rendered useless in stopping these weasels, so Let's act. Anybody up????

This call came from Youngstown, Ohio, between Hilton Avenue and E Judson Avenue west of Southern Blvd.

They keep calling me every week! What a pest!

Getting them almost everyday even though I have 'pressed 1' several times to speak to a live person, and everytime I have asked them to remove me from their list. They just hang up on me. I am registered on the Do-Not-Call list in Ontario but it doesn't seem to apply to them.

I have filed a complaint on the National Do Not Call list. Not sure if it will make a difference, but hopefully it will.

They call our house at least once a day, always let it go to voice mail, they never leave a message. VERY annoying!!

Got a call today from 1-234-567-8900.  A voice asking me to press #1 for reduction in credit card rates.  I thought it was a scam and hung up. I live
in Manitoba,  Canada.

Same type of call looking to talk about lowering credit card debt/interest.  They said they are from VISA/Mastercard.

When I questioned them further to legitimize who they are, they hung up.

Just to let all know out there in telephone land they (the scammers) are hiding under a new number(not on computer.)1-626-273-8276. This is what was said to me:" We have important information about your credit card" and at that mention I hung up. NO-ONE IN OUR HOME HAS ANY SORT OF CREDIT CARD. Go figure! Obviously the weasels have found a new home to operate under. I said it before, this is a direct violation of our right to privacy. And this is legal grounds for a harassment charge. Keep six on this all, let's bond together and stop these cheap lo-life cons.Once again I must give a boot, not a salute to our Sask.tel. Once again remembering our satisfaction and reason we pay.

Definitely a scam. The phone provider is Sprint Communications; couldn't they locate the individual(s) that are making these calls across Canada and US if enough complaints come through?

Same problem, on the do not call list, phone number is unlisted, and still get these 234-567-8900 calls, don't answer them, but fed up with it. Tried the reverse search, got Bob F Bobbers, out of Youngstown, Ohio, did further digging, said phone was a Sprint Communications, mobile, YNTWOH78SMD, routed through Royal Oaks, Michigan, further digging...NIGERIA!  What is going on?

I just got a call from that stupid phone number: 1-234-567-8900. I'm a french canadian, that makes no senses at all. I feel better now that I know that I'm not the only one with this problem.
