have received calls from 1-234-567-8900 and a voice message comes on and informs of my car insurance is about to expire and to pay at once.Then at the end of message the computer voice lady says if you don't have a car then press 2 if this does not apply to you.I then pressed 2.
A few days later she is calling again.

Had a call last week about urgent request to contact them about my credit card. As I have no credit cards I stayed on line and as soon as I said I didnt have any she promptly hung up on me!! I immeadiately phoned the number back and got a recording asking if I wanted to be taken off there list, I said yes. I just finished getting another call, and pushed 1 to speak to representive, as soon as I said I had gotten a call last week she hung up on me again!! They are pissing me off and would like to see them in person!!!

Got the call again-this time at work. Pressed 1, and asked to be removed-she hung up. Called the Canadian Do Not call registry, and was told they are well aware of it as a US based co. but US numbers cannot be enforced. Damn Americans! No offence to those not affiliated with telemarketing crap!

i've been calling them back on redial every few minutes while reading.  Pisses them off because they keep saying hello and get no response, sound familiar?

I received a call from this number about 1-2 months ago, offering me an extended warranty on my car... and just got ANOTHER call today from "Cardholder services" to lower my interest rate.  Obviously if you press 3 to take your number off their list, they don't follow that... SCAM!!!  Don't ever give out ANY personal information over the phone.

Just got a call and there was no one there.  I did call 800-943-3250 and spoke to Chris who was most pleasant and said I would be put on the do not call list.

He didn't know who Mike was. LOL.

OFFERING TO LOWER CREDIT CARD INTEREST RATES. I CALLED MASTERCARD AND THEY SAID BEWARE AND DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR #'S. U.S. SCAMMERS

They called here each month lately.  I pressed '1' and a guy came on asking how I was.  I told him I was agitated.  He asked why.  I said my wife has already asked you not to call here.  He asked oh really?  I asked 'do you have a good dental plan?  He told me '[***] you [***] and hung up.'  If only I could reach through the phone line...

I am in Toronto.  These people call my number on average of once a week usually through the day when I am at work, and leave messages.  I tried calling the number back, but the message said that the number is not in use.

I too got the same call I have caller id and never answered for many days finally I did and same thing press 1 to lower your interst rate I pressed 1 and got a hang up,I JUST HATE TELEMARKETERS especially when they keep talking and don't give you a chance to say anything also you can ask to be put on the do not call list but with so many new ones out there its a losing battle.

continuously keep getting calls from these people.  It started picking up especially when I started applying for jobs on craiglist.  I wonder if these scammers have found a way to post bogus jobs to get our info and phone numbers.  Be extra careful and do not give out personal info.

I just hung up from the second call in two days. But after reading the reports here I fear I have nothing to look forward to but more calls. There has to be something or some law to enforce that can stop theses idiots. I think i will keep an air horn by my phone for the next time I press 1 before they hang up I will give them a blast. maybe if they cant hear they wont call back.

Well these people claim they can help you reduce your credit card rate.
The problem I had with this is I've never had a credit card in my life.
I learnt there are a number of other toll free numbers you can call to have this stoped. Mutual Consolidated Services is a scam probably working for
Collection Agencies and Telemarketers. The numbers to have them stop calling you are as follows: 1-877-891-1348, 1-800-943-3250, 1-888-878-1014.
But be very careful if you call one of these numbers.
I DIALED *67 (TO HIDE MY #) BUT THAT DID NOT WORK.
I FOUND OUT THEY HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO "OVERRIDE" THIS.
AFTER I USED *67 THEN DIALED THERE #, THE WOMAN (IN A RUDE MANNER)
TOLD ME THE NUMBER I WAS CALLING FROM (MY #).
THEY AND MANY OTHER CO's CAN OVERRIDE *67, SO BE CAREFUL NOW!!!
JUST USE A PAYPHONE WHICH COSTS NOTHING FOR TOLLFREE NUMBERS!
Drive them crazy, just like what they do to us.......

You cannot get put on their "do not call" list unless you give them your credit card number so they can lower your interest rates.  Phishing!  What a scam.

i pressed 1 and someone answered but pretended they couldn't hear me and hung up.  I called the number back and just get a fast busy signal.  they've called me many times in spite of being on the no call list.

WHAT GIVES?  IS ANYONE AT THE CRTC PAYING ATTENTION?

Got a call this moring from 234-567-8900 and yes they are calling on behalf of Visa and Master Card to lower interest rates....blah blah blah, scam scam scam.....I asked for thier company name so that I could verify with Visa and nothing...no name given...the scammer..errrr representative, simply said said that the computer randomly calls numbers and offers the interest lowering scam..err..rate change (gotta get that straight for myelf!) I promptly told him that this is telemarketing to which he replied it's not and hung up on me.
Thank you for 234-567-8900 for being a company of no integrity and doing whatever you want regardless of the "do not call" list. Your company will fail given your current business practices.

i was called about a credit card intrest rate but i dont even have a credit card
