It's been used for tons of solicitations, etc. I sent "Felix" an email stating "Take your scam elsewhere." Haven't heard from him since. Thank God for this site. I'm definitely retiring from online dating. Ladies, I have a Ph.D. and was almost suckered. Do not trust ANYONE on a dating site. They are slick, professional, and know all the right words to suck you in.

Thank you for the pictures...I can tell you all that they change their name and picture like we change our clothes but please be sure that the game is the same...money....They are experts at sending previously prepared messages confessing their love but they are most all really living in Nigeria...Keep your money, please don't fall for these scammers.

The name is not familiar but the game is the same...Anyone can get a free throw away phone number through google...Have you heard this person's voice?  The voice can sometimes give them away.  Do you have pictures of this person?  It won't matter either because like I have said before, they can change the name and the picture all the time.  Listen to his voice and if he is has a foreign accent, be careful...that's all. If you are uncomfortable, the maybe you shouldn't be talking to this person...

The phone number you have is not a Dubai number - there must be a digit missing.  I am in Dubai and I was being scammed by a Paul Unwin till I checked out this website and grew wiser!  There are hundreds of them out there........please be careful and never.......never.....send them any money.

He has not asked for $ .... Yet. But he found me on a E Harmony, said his wife had been dead 8 years. No kids, his mom lived in London and was having some health problems and he was on business in Dubai. He moved very  quickly claiming that I Was the woman he had been looking for. He claimed he loved me by week 2. He was supposed to return week 3, but we didnt make it because when you search Paul Whitener/ Dubai it pulls up this website. Thanks you all for telling your story. We can all help each other.

Paul Whitener used email address paulwt65@hotmail.com. His phone number was 9726377123. His wife died of cancer 8 years ago. His father was from Cologne, Germany but dead  His mother was alive and living in the UK, but having some health problems. He did not have any children  He was in Dubai working as an oil platform supplier and Major contractor. He was ready to hang up his boots and stop traveling so he could settle down and have a family life. He lived in Tennessee 3 months ago, but sold his home and moved to Houston.

He never asked me for a dollar either.........and we exchanged 68 emails in 5 weeks!  Same stories he told me too.  I kept asking him to come on skype or video chat on yahoo or gmail and he never did.....although he kept telling me he would do so.  When he was scamming me he was in China and I asked him to call me from a landline in China so I would know he was really in China.........but that too he avoided and called me from his US mobile.  I think it would be ideal to video chat with these prospective husbands, lovers or potential scamsters!  Never, never believe everything they say and more important never ever give them a dime!

He"s been sending me emails and saying the same thing...says he lives in Michigan. If you read this blog back a year ago his name comes several times...i think I just dodged a buttet!

I have been in contact with Paul whitener also.  He says he is 47 year old from burton Michigan but is now in Dubai on a oil platform.  He owns his own company and contracts with the government. His father died a few years ago, mother lives in London and wife died 8 years ago. I will get a text or email from him and then he will not reply to my text or questions.  He sent me pictures. Very good looking pictures. I am also talking to another person on match.com who lives in Northern California. His name is Jeffrey Anderson. Calling me dear and sweetness, angel like right away.

I am getting the same story from Paul whitener. Is letters and text vary from fifth grade writing style to professional well educated.

I have the same phone number and story, but with a kid.  He is in Singapore supposedly.  He lays it on really thick.  In my story, he moved to Livonia, MI from Memphis.  Same exact guy.  Run!!!!  I'm sending him this link.  He is still actively bothering me.

Here is a new one for you all.  His name is now Jason Morgan and he was on the Christian singles website.  He does not get very romantic and does take his time, a few months this time...I am not use to that so I thought for a while that he was legit.  The others profess love so quickly and need your money because of some tragedy somewhere for them...All a crock. Anyway this Jason was in the UK since I met him in September but says he lives in Illinois...He was suppose to return from his job over there last week but he was robbed and wanted me to send him $8,000....Right!  I THINK NOT!!!  I sent him a message and told him I thought he was a scammer and I then called the number he had given me and even though he did not personally answer, the voice on the answering machine is definitely Nigerian accent.....so there you go.  They are everywhere on every dating site just stalking us....Beware...
