- Kathy replies to KathyI have talked to at least 10 men from Match. Com who are scammers. The first was named was Dennis W. Alsip he scammed me out of $4,000. I was foolish enough to believe him, just coming out of a divorce and being very vulnerable. I learned my lesson the hard way. I wish there was something we could do to stop these scumbags from taking advantage of women in there most vulnerable state.
Please, be aware if they tell you everything you want to hear, and say they are falling in love with you after a short time of talking, Run as fast as you can it's a scam!!! - Kathy replies to MelodyThis guy has the same exact story as the guy I have talked to only his name is Magdaleno Steven Fox.
He left for the UK on Sat and said he will meet me directly upon his return. I haven't heard from him since Sat. so i guess his mother died and I will be hearing that story soon. Wish something could be done about these low lifes. - Scammed replies to PatYes, I reported it, but it would be good to keep reporting it. Don't let this guy get away with anything. Keep him in the spotlight.
- Michelle replies to Sue| 16 repliesCan you tell me more about Paul Whitener? He has been telling me I am the only woman for him and I haven't even met him yet. Says he is currently buying antiques in Malaysia. Is he a scam? What happened with you?
Thanks so much! - Too Smart To Be Scammed replies to Sheri| 1 replyhttp://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx.
I am going to report two scammers. Adrian Teague (He contacted me on seniorpeoplemeet.com and Patrick Raymond (he contacted me on Blackpeoplemeet.com).
My first experience with meeting people online has really taught me a lot. All I can say to other people is to try not to be so sad and realize that these people are not worth your emotional energy! Keep their names posted on the internet so other victims can be spared.
These people are a bunch of losers who are not skilled to hold regular jobs, lazy to earn their own way and thieves who belong in jail. - Karen replies to Too Smart To Be ScammedHi Sherri or too smart to be scammed, either will do. A friend of mine in Australia watched a 60 minute program there interviewing a group of nigerian scammers (match.com; etc.) and they were not only very smart, good looking, and wealthy, but they saw their work as "a job" and they did it well. They all were in mid 20-30's and liked living the "high Life". They have managed to bamboozle a great deal from the unsuspecting victims. I would like to believe they are losers, but I think they are smarter than we think, and they are definately not to be dealt with lightly. Do turn in all information to your local FBI and keep the names up for others to see. Thanks. I'm seeing more and more that it is an international ring that seems to have studied profiles for quite some time. Do not for any reason give them your address.
Some of the scammers are sending illegal goods through the mail to "their sweethearts" and you can get caught up in mail fraud along with them. Well, I'm going back to the "match. search and see if I can find a real man. Good luck ladies! - Barbara replies to Sheshe| 3 repliesJust wanted everyone to know that I also was the victim of this creep. He even booked an airline flight from Kent, UK to my place and sent me the airline itinerary but surprise - he never made it here. Wanted to marry me and live with me for the rest of his life. Had never met anyone like me before. His Mother died while we were communicating also. This time he was Magdaleno Michael Dolan. Exactly the same story. His emails are copied and pasted to each and every one of us. Nothing original for this idiot. Called me every day and every night. I don't know how he keeps us all straight, ha. Wouldn't you just love to know who the person is whose picture he stole??? He's not a bad looking guy but certainly not 62 years old and for sure does not have a German accent as my Mom was full blood German and I grew up around German grandparents. Only this time he was in Dubai on business with his investors when his Mom Carmen Mendoza Dolan died in Italy. Her funeral was on a Thursday (supposedly) and he called me 3 times that day. What a louse!!!!
- Barbara replies to Barbara| 2 repliesOne more thing. The only thing I missed out on was the plane crash. Shucks - that one never happened in all the months we communicated. That's the one that should have happened for sure. Has anyone contacted Magellan/Margellan Investments International? Or MaxIndex or any of these other places that he supposedly worked. Name with Magellen is supposed to be Magdaleno Michael Cardenas. I also have reported him to the FBI as well as the Metropolitan Police in London. Believe me, ladies, his cup is full - he will be punished for the things he has done to us. If anyone wants to write to Magellan, I have the email address and name to write to. The email address that he used to communicate with me is mdolan1947@yahoo.com. Anyone want to surprise him with an email to this address. Let's have some fun with this idiot. I was very cautious about allowing myself to have true feelings for this fool. When it started out, I thought it was too good to be true and after realizing that it was, I played along with him for quite awhile just to see how far it would go. When I stopped it, his last words were " I will never stop loving you no matter what you say to me, nothing can change the way I feel". He's a pro!!
- Karen replies to Barbara| 1 replyI am hoping that you kept a paper trail of this creeps advances and that you have turned it along with his identity and email address into the local authorities, ie. FBI. I believe it very difficult not to have feelings when they are so attentive. But it is okay. It just means that you are normal. The feelings that were stirred up in me during my "romance" were some that I thought I had forgotten... And to know that I can still get aroused by the sound of voice, was like a light turned on in my mind. I hope you will not feel badly about being able to respond with affection. We women are good at that, and then we blame ourselves when we are duped. Don't. I will take a whack at your offered email, and see what comes of it. Barbara, hang in there, you deserve a good man. I do too, we will find them. despite the riffraff that get in our way.
- Barbara replies to KarenThanks, Karen. Actually, I am doing very very well. My goal in life now is to make sure another sweet God-Fearing woman is not taken in by these criminals. Yes, take a whack at the Mdolan1947@yahool.com. This guy needs to be afraid for his life.
- Tired of Lies| 8 repliesI have been contacted and communicating with the same scammer - Steven Magdaleno Fox - same story about Mama Steven dying, etc. I will report him to the FBI - but want to have a little fun with him as well - I am on seniorpeople but will be cancelling that membership.
It's sad that there are people out there like this when there are honest people trying to meet someone - unfortunately, you get to the place where you don't want to trust anyone. - Barbara replies to Tired of Lies| 7 repliesYes, tired of lies, please do. I also have reported them to the FBI as well as the Metropolitan Police in the UK. This scammer has been doing this for a long time. Time to get him. It was Mama Mike when he was scamming me. I don't know who he told you he worked for but he is supposed to be a fund manager from Margellan Investments International or MaxIndex (either one). He will eventually ask you to enter a business arrangement with him and that's when the money requests will start pouring in. PLEASE, protect yourself from this man. You deserve much better!!!!!
- Another in the long list of those scamm! replies to Barbara| 5 repliesMy, my! His name is also Alnardo Magdelino Murray. Here's another email address for him: malnardo@yahoo.com. He supposedly is in Dubai, but on his way to meet me and live the rest of our lives . . . Yuck! Reported to FBI - hope they catch the creep. I sent my last email to all the addresses all of you have provided . . . What do you know - he hasn't responded.
We all deserve better than this low-life. - Barbara replies to Another in the long list of those scamm! This is his favorite scam. He will eventually ask you to enter a business arrangement with him with some investors in Dubai. PLEASE PLEASE sure you report him to the FBI. They now have a good sized paper trail on this creep. God Bless You. You deserve much better.
- SaraThank goodness I came across this web site and started reading the emails. Yes, this is the same guy that has been emailing me. As i was reading the emails, I realized he said this stuff to me. I thank my God in heaven for taking me to this site and educating me on these types of people. Thank goodness I never gave him any information.

- Barbara| 2 repliesHi Girls,
This is another one of Magdaleno Michael Cardenas Jr.'s scams. Just want everyone to be aware.
Attention:{removed}
We have received your email with the attached identification and your online application for the opening of non Resident Gold Checking account with our bank. We have completed the necessary documentation and have also secured the required account opening approval from the Admin and the Operation Department. We are expecting the guarantor authorization from our Non Resident Representative attorney Barrister Magdaleno Michael Cardenas who is also a member of our banks legal team.
It is important to inform you that opening a non resident account with our bank has some legal implication. Since we have not met with the customer and cannot vow to the type of person the customer and with no guarantor, we try to protect the interest of our bank while also doing banking business. Because of this and to prevent our bank being directly involved in any illegal transaction the customer may use the account to do, we always handle the account opening through our Legal Department.
What we do is to appoint an attorney from our legal department who will stand as the representative of the client and secure all forms of affidavit from the court showing that he is standing on behalf of an online client to establish a Non Resident bank account for the client .With this, both the bank and the attorney protects itself by proving that they have not met the client in person outside their communicating online.
To further prove this, the account opening fee is always paid to the bank by the Customer through this attorney. The customer is to send the money to the attorney through his bank account with our sister bank; Bank of the Sierra also Member of the Sierra Finance Group. The attorney on receiving this money is to Issue a bank draft for the same amount from his account with Bank of the Sierra in favor of Sierra Fiancé Bank. This bank draft will be used by the Sierra Finance Bank to establish this account on behalf of the customer. This procedure is to show the process by which the account opening fee was paid through the attorney and how it was issued to the bank as a draft by the attorney.Based on this, you are to make the account opening fee payment though the attorney with the bank details bellow.

Email: account@sierrafinancebank.com - Karen replies to Barbara| 1 replyJust checking in to see that everyone is turning these men into FBI. and wow what a new line you sent Barb. That is so convoluted and crooked, I can't imagine that he would think anyone would fall for such a scheme, this perhaps shows us just how devious he is and how dumb. I've left senior people. and am about to close my account with match.com, as it is such a deflating and debasing response some of the gentlemen send. Wonder who is worse, the ones that scam or the ones that wink and scram! lol
take care ladies. - Barbara replies to KarenHi Karen,
Oh, yes, I have definately turned these crooks in. I have provided a list a mile long of scam emails from him and IP addresses. I hope each and every one of us will do the same thing. These men/man are extremely dangerous and that is because basically they are very stupid (as you say). There is another name that all of you need to be aware of and that name is Dr. Francois Dagash. He is another alias claiming to be from the EU treasury. After Magdaleno Michael (whoever is is today) approaches you to become an investment partner of his through Margellan Investment Internationsls, you will start getting emails from this Dagash guy wanting to know how he can help you so that your transaction will go off without a hitch. Please, ladies, NEVER send these men a single penney!!! God Bless. - Tired of Lies| 27 repliesHas anyone conversed with Ryan Scanlon? Says he is from Chardon, OH. Used the online name of Shipmate7744 on Match.com. Not the same story as what I've seen, but I'm suspicious. Thanks.
- Karen replies to Tired of Lies| 8 repliesTIRed.... I will see if I can find his profile on match. I can usually (now, after a few bad eggs) find the fatal flaws. But turn the name in as suspicious to Match.com just be be safe, and they will also investigate. good luck.
