Giovanni LaRosa who claims that he traveled to Texas then the UK to sign the deal. He wrote to me on Match and immediately asked me to correspond using my private email account. I don't understand why these people are so dishonest. I would never give any stranger money but  I wonder whether or not this was his ultimate goal? As I continue to attempt to meet good people using online dating services I have now decided that I will never engage in frequent email

I also received communications from a Matt Edward - he saw my picture on Linked In............son and father killed in a car accident, daughter lives with mother in France.  Works for Vanguard Investments, had to go to Texas for business meeting with international investor, flying to Kent England to closes the deal, will return to US in 12 days.  I told him the gig was up and to discontinue communications.

I don't want to sound over excited but I was so glad this morning when I opened my email to see an email from you. It was like a new me was born at that instant. I don’t know why I felt like that but I have wondered why a man at my age should be this happy over an email. I have tried to ask myself this question but realized that maybe I have missed something in my life for a very long time and now it’s returning back. My long stay abroad makes people to say I have German accent; whether German, Italian, British or Irish accent, all I know is that I speak English fluently. I want to be open and hope that you will not misinterpret it that I say a lot. I am man with no hidden skeleton and like to tell all about him without being asked. I have nothing to hide in life, no criminal record or police record. I am just a simple man living a good life with a good work and good pay. The Truth is that I have come to understand that I will need a serious relationship in my life. I feel very young both physically and mentally. I understand we have both may have had some good and worst experiences in our previous relationship but we should try to let the past go and focus on the future because there is hope only in the future.

He did just the same scenario to me. His mother was ill and died in Italy, a few weeks ago. He asked for my full name and address because he was going to Dubai and needed an investor for a deal. He told me that the deal went through and he needed 35 000 dollars to secure it in an online account. I told him that I did not have that kind of money.

Got same exact email going by Giovanni La Rosa found me on Match back in April. Another   one too. They send attractive photos to entice you. I had one last year who said he was on a oil rig using name of David Rogers. All through match. Red flag is heavy accent and unavailability to meet.

Met the same man on TINDER!! Named Bruno Albert. His email was goodlife7854@gmail.com and his phonenumber +441412804707

He wrote stuff like:

So many years later this guy is using a new phone number 323-835-1868 and uses the name Benito Benco Federico. but the story is the same.  so glad I found this site. He found me on Match.

3 years later, and  I have been receiving emails with the exact same words!!  I did fall for it at first - always thought he was too good to be true, but tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.Even told him that.  When he asked for $ for his mother's funeral expenses I said I didn't have any - he got angry and accused me of being a horrible person and insincere all along - he said it was only a test to see how much I loved him, but that he would never have taken any money from me, that he had more than enough money for both of us forever.  I got even more upset about being "tested" and actually called him a scammer - said I didn't believe a word he said, and that he sounded like a Nigerian bank scammer. He got livid, but when I said I was hurt, upset, and crying, he said he didn't want me to cry anymore - then apologized and went on with the love story.  Right now he's planning to quit his job to have more time with me when he comes back to the states, but he has to go to Dubai first to finalize a business deal. I was just waiting to see what the next concocted story would be (although still hoping that he was real). HAHA!!  So how did your story end?

This is the same guy who contacted me. He goes by Matthew Edward and is from Lyon France. Exactly the same m.o..I was on to him from the beginning but played along for awhile. Jerk that preys on women. Stay away!

After reading all these messages it seems I am in touch with the same scammer....same exact messages and under the name Patrick Holmes.  Too bad.

EXACT same messages...i was beginning to get suspicious...letter writing was yoo concise and like a performance.  Hes is Uk signing documents....right!  Glad I pursued finding out more about this guy...wasnt easy since hes going by Patrick Holmes with me.

Very interesting, guess I'm his newest victim...Ha Ha!  Cute picture though, if its really him! Knew from 1st letter it was a game.  Has he stole money from anyone?  Has anyone ever met him?  What a loser!
