I am so glad I just now googled aka "Antonio Mario Garcia" and found thid info. I am his latest victim...he found me on match.com. So far he just has an email address and phone number.

It seems I have been rambling instead of telling you more about me as I promised in my email to you on the site. I don't want to sound over excited but I must confess that I am so happy to have come across you and I know that you would want us to take this slowly but I will try to be positive and consistent. People say that I play with everything except my work. But what they don’t know is that I can play with my work but not with my love for someone. This is why I prefer people that will appreciate my humorous attitude. I like seeing soccer, movies and listening to music. I like going to the beach and climbing mountains thou I have only climbed once in Dublin. I am a trained educationist and learnt the Fund Management trade under Robert Kiyosaki. I worked with him for seven years speaking on investing, fund management and teaching on how to benefit from the content of his three major books, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Rich Dad's CASHFLOW Quadrant, and Rich Dad's Guide to Investing. It was while on a tour with him to Aberdeen Scotland that I was made on offer by Vanguard investment International. I worked with them for 6 years before I returned to United States and now work as a Consultant Fund Manager.

I have to stop here so that I will still have something to say in my next email. I have attached some of my pictures which I uploaded on the dating site but since my subscription has expired, I don’t know if you were able to view them. I took the pictures three months ago when my daughter came to visit me from Italy. She needed new pictures of me so we used her camera to take the pictures and she printed it on getting to Italy and sent these ones to me. All I can assure at this point is that you will never regret meeting me if it works out for us; my late wife never did, so you will not. I promise!!!

Please do not believe one word you have read from this person.  He is the same person or persons I was speaking to and I promise you that he is in Nigeria and has been doing this scam for some time now.   The pictures and name changes with every person but he and his friends are all sending the same words to many people.  If you should continue to talk to him I can just about assure you that his mother will die in Italy again.  She has died so many times it is very sad.  Most all of these scammers are in Nigeria.  I am sure there are some everywhere but the words this person is using with you are the same he has used over and over.  Above all be careful and please do not send him too much personal information or give him any money.

The first part of the message is different from what I got but the last part is almost word for word what he ( or someone close to him ) sent to me. This is a complete sham. I've written - online here - to Match - to see if there is any way to stop this but what I've gleaned is that we're the lucky ones who somehow smelled something fishy - and didn't send money or spend much time talking to this creep. I try to cruise this site every so often in hopes of either finding a way to stop these creeps or just reinforcing others who are discovering this by telling them that it's a hoax.

I really fell for him, but after finding this site i knew that I had been scammed. To my surprise he just called me and he is at The airport where I live.

so not everyone on dating sites are scammers

How did this work out? Was he for real? Did you meet with him. This renews my faith in the strange online process.

I have been scammed for over three years by a man who took advantage of my money. I really fell for him and he took all my money and I am moving and I don't think I have enough money to even buy food. But the am a survivor and will pick up the pieces and move forward.

I was such a fool, but my gut feeling was that he was scamming me. I think that this man played on my weakness.

Did he ever show up?  If he did good for you.  No, not everyone is a scammer but when you read these stories and they are similar, those are the scammers, and probably not in the US.  Good luck.

He is now using the name Robert Capitani. Says he works for Transword International Investing as a fund manager.  He flew to Texas for a big meeting with Fidelity Investing. He gave me a cell number which I never called.   Now he says he is in a Kent, UK to close the deal.   He gave me a UK number which I never called.  This guy is smooth.  Beware ladies.

Ladies file complaint: www.ci3.gov like I did. FCC doesn't handle internet scams.  If u lost money yours will b taken more serious!  Be sure to keep all contact info & all related docs. Pass info along. Gotta stop him & others like him!

I just received a very long email from Tonio aka Antonio Mario Garcia.  The pictures he attached were exactly as you described.  Says he is.from Match but his subscription had expired so no pic or profile was available for me to preview.  Is he a scam artist?  I was leary of him because last week, same thing happened with a Antonio Logioia.  Tried to talk with him on the phone but English was unintelligible!  He said it was an Italian accent but sounded very Middle Eastern to me.  I explained to him via emails (he had no trouble at all writing, it was perfect) that my only income was Socisl Security.  Never heard from him again.  I wonder if these guys are one in the same?  I would just love to screw him over.  He explained his job with Vanguard, you'd think he was Steve Jobs.!  Had no idea there was a site like this.  This info should be posted on Match.  My email address is:  ideclair10@aol.com.  Would love to hear from any or all of you.  There is power in numbers!

This is the exact email, word for word, that I received yesterday from Antonio Mario Garcia.  What a [***].  I would love to play with him.  My whole family is in law enforcement.  He needs a good scare!  I am not done with him.

This guy has emailed me numerous times, with the exotic love letters. Written word for word as the other ladies have received. Signed his letters as Steve Caldari. Was in Texas, just flew to the Uk, with Transword investment intl. I googled that company, does not exist as Transword. Told me he lives near me in a city I know very well. I asked repeatedly where, no response. I also checked his name out in our circuit court system and at anywho.com, no such person. His grammar sometimes made no sense. Has not asked for money yet. My response will be, FBI! So long, jerk! Keep your eyes open ladies.

Would love to see the pics.  I corresponded with 2 men from match.  One - Mario Dino who supposedly was a soccer scout agent and also went to the UK widow for 10 years.  Called me daily from UK. Had all sorts of issues and needed money.  The other one is Adolphus Tonio Patelio.  works as a fund manager went to their offices in Kent UK, mother ill in Italy, just died yesterday.  Speaks of love eternally, etc. has not asked for $$ yet.  Talked briefly for a few minutes hard to understand.  I was suspicious from start and was just "playing" along to see what would happen.
