Got a call from 239-415-4400 at 7:40 PM on a Friday night. Caller said that they did not want to sell me anything and were doing a survey on asthma and did anyone in my household have asthma. I just replied NO to everything in case it was one of those phone scams where they get you to answer Yes to something and then use that to authorize bogus charges to your phone bill. If anyone bothers to answer a call from a number they don't recognize, just simply reply Not Interested and hang up. Perhaps the "elderly and teenagers working their way through school" could find jobs in libraries, fast food restaurants, gas stations, retail,etc. and actually provide customer service instead of aggravation.

Why am I receiving calls about Florida healthcare? I live in Colorado.

Just got my first call and did not answer it so I guess I will start getting more. Will keep posting.

I first told them I didn't have time for a survey (I was actually very sick). They called me again, missed that call. Then again they called me just before 8pm. I picked up the phone and they asked if I had time for a survey. I politely told them. Do you have time to come over and kiss my ass? She said oh baby. I would love that. She came over and we made out. Then one thing led to another and I ended up doing a survey. NOT. lol...

I am thinking about spending some money on a call blocker. Since the do not call list isn't full proof. I might as well make my own do not call list by spending money on some hardware. Just google and you will find something.

They have called several times this week, but left no message. When I finally picked up, some lady said she was doing a survey for tv viewers. I told her we dont watch tv. She says, "thats ok, but u can still answer the first several questions of the survey". I told her I am not interested in being part of any survey and hung up.

When will the government step up and make this house calling harrassment illegal? Why is nothing being done about this!!!!? This is invasion of our privacy.

I receive these calls once a day.  Since that line is a fax it never gets answered.  What bothers me is that one of the defenders of this crap says just answer the government sponsored survey.  Wait, I am paying to harass myself and others?  The government has no money, only taxpayers money.

Same problem as the rest of the comments.  I did call the number that was provided below and spoke to an operator. I told her that I wanted no more calls and she stated that she would have my number removed from the call list.  Hope it works.

They are now useing Abt S as their caller ID.  Called two times and hour apart.  Left no message.

ABT SRBI - calls come in several times a day i do not answer but it is annoying they do not leave a message.  This started two weeks ago.  It needs to stop.

Just received a call from this number for my daughter who has not lived here for more than 4 years.  Caller said they were calling on behalf of Social Security Administration

told her i was satisfied GOOD BYE

Unidentified caller stated that he was representing AMTRAC and that he wanted to know personal information about our recent travels.  Typical survey questions...continued to call even when admantly instructed not to bother us  with unsolicited telephone call again.

I received a call from 239-415-4400 at 8:30 pm PST on a Sunday, which is rather late for solicitors particularly on a Sunday.  The caller ID was Abt S. The woman asked for my husband by his full name (and middle initial).  She claimed that she was asked to call this number to conduct an AMTRAK customer service satisfaction interview.  We have not used Amtrak for years. I believe these people are trying to confirm whether a specific person resides at the address. Unfortunately my husband has a common name and I believe the company is associated with a credit agency.  We do not have any unresolved accounts and our credit is excellent.  They may just be trying every tactic to locate the person they're looking for. I called back and it just rang and rang and then went dead. Very annoying!

They call at least twice a day, once morning and then around 6:30 or 7 in the evening. I am retired from a local phone company, so I know the usual drill on solicitation calls. I use my home phone as a fax line, so at least they get a large burst of tone in their ear. The area code 239 is for a large area of Southwest Florida. It includes Lee and Collier counties, small parts of Hendry and Charlotte counties and the Everglades National park in Mainland Monroe County. At least we now know where the jerks are calling from, right? The MAIN THING is to NEVER give out info over the phone to someone asking personal questions. You don't know who you are talking to - Don't talk to strangers!! Ring a bell?

I have recieved numerous phone calls to ask questions about sports that I watch on TV. When I told them I don`t watch sports they decide their comp is having problems .they have called over and over .I even have an unlisted number and private phone.

At 8:45pm tonight I had a call from that number. I did not answer and the person did not leave a message. Don't believe them when that person is telling you that SRBI is doing so called surveys for the IRS, Military or anything else. I do investigations and I know that the IRS OR the Military would never use an outside company to do confidential work. DONT FALL FOR THE BS AND HUNG UP OR BETTER YET LET THE ANSWERING EQUIPMENT ANSWER THEN YOU NEVER HAVE TO TALK TO THEM.
