Total scam.

Definitely a scam: I have never even had a Chase account, let alone live in an area where they even offer banking.

Scam.  Got a text with "Fr: Chase Online Identification Code: ..." from that number.
And don't have a Chase account.  Assume that a reply gives you a link to bogus site.

i got a text message from them giving me a verification code but i never requested to change my password. no reason for them to send this to me.

Hey I'm reading all the text responses from all of yall an I'm just getting about 3 hours ago an text from CHASE ONLINE, an they sent me an identification code an nothing else. I read what you said about there link an not using there's do you know if this is [***] or not??

I just got a text after 10 pm from 242733 so I think it is a scam.

What is  this  message

I've a Chase account, but wasn't trying to log in at all at the time I received this text.  As it was unsolicited, I called Chase who told me that they never text (really?) and that I should ignore it.  I don't know what the scammer's angle is, though, as there's no web link or anything to follow, just the "Identification Code":

got the same text  from this number to my cell!!!

Same here, it's a scam, I don't have a chase account

Sent a text even though I don't have an account with Chase! Fraudulent! Spam!

I contact the fraud department at chase, the txt I got was NOT from Chase.  This is a scam.

My mom just got a message from this number on Tuesday April 11 its  a scam

*Definitely a scam. Actual Chase messages that I receive come from 242-73.....not 242-733*

I don't have Chase Bank though. So.... why are they telling me to log in with a certain code to "verify" account settings???? 🖕

They told me that same thing they told me to get in contact with the abuse department. It is 100% a scam
