I don’t have a Chase account. Yet this number kept on sending me codes and then they tried calling me. Left a message wanting me to call them. I blocked the calls and text. Definitely a scam.

Got the same text message and then it was followed by a robocall to my cell phone to click on the link.  Scammers are now following text up with robocalls.

Yes this is definitely a scam. I got a text past night saying that someone was trying to send money from my account via Zelle and they wanted me to verify my account info. Please be aware and call your bank if you’re uncertain.

Unfortunately, the number is valid (both 24273 and 242733), but has apparently been getting used by scammers by spoofing the number to make you think it's legitimate. They've been doing the same thing with phone calls coming from numbers that will pop up as Chase Customer Service, using an automated message stating there is potential fraud against your account. Per Chase, they will never call you about a fraudulent charge - you should get a text/email with txn details. Always call the number on the back of your card and speak to someone to see if there have been any legitimate attempts to contact you. Check your account, too, to see if there are any unknown charges.

I have a checking account at chase bank. I only do simple things on the computer.
I get on every day just to check my checking account and that is usually for the day. I am not a computer person. I have never had this much trouble in my life on a computer. I don't understand at all why iam having this much trouble period.

For one thing, responding to a one-time poster from 2009 might be a hint. Since you don't say what the problem is/was, there is not much help to be offered.
Prior posts indicate this is a Pop-Up scam or a text scam.

If a Pop-up Message:  You will need someone to help you get the Pop-up malware off your computer. NEVER call any numbers given in a Pop-up, that is one way that ID theft occurs. Scammers are trying to get access to your computer and your data.

If a Text Message: with a link: Do NOT click on that link. Forward the text to 7726 as spam.

If you are concerned about your account, call Chase using the number on the back of your card.

Was checking my credit reports. It showed me my credit report and all was in order. Tried to go back in and got a code from 242733. (Extra 3) Went back on and my credit info was correct. Is it a scam? If scam how did they have my correct credit report info?
