they just called said to push 1 if i wanted to lower my student loan, with nothing to do but drink a cup of coffee.. i pushed 1...  she asked do you want to low your rate on my s. loan ? said maybe.. she went thru her whole spial and than ask me what i would like to do. said i'm 63 never had a loan but figured i waste your
time  for calling my cell phone.  she hung up...   good coffee !!!!

I received a call on my cell phone regarding my student loans.  I DO NOT HAVE ANY STUDENT LOANS.  When I called the phone number back, the recording stated that the number was no longer in service.  It also stated that it was the 'Pacific Telecommunications Group'.

They called me and a person told me I owed a student loan and I hung up on them. I have  caller ID and it came from Washington state.

Received call from number. Didn't answer. Don't know anyone in Kent, Washington. Reported via National DNC.

Called claiming to help with my student loan payments.  See, here's the thing......I don't have one and never have had one.  When I asked why are they calling a person who doesn't have one, they hung up!

Called Wed Nov. 14 with recording about lowering my student loan debt. I don't have a student loan. I decided I'd stay on the line to get their company name. When I finally got a human and asked the company name, they disconnected me immediately.

They're now offering to reduce student loan payments by 50%... sweet.  Somehow I don't believe the recorded msg describing the opportunity.  Like many others, I'm on DNC list and it's a VZN wireless account.

Stop calling me, this is harrassment.

The person or automated caller said they were calling about lowering the cost of my student loans.

Why bother registering you phone or cell phone with the DO NOT CALL LIST, apparently it doesnt work. I have both of  mine  registered and I had 4 calls this week on my cell phone..I dont answer my phone if I dont know the number and they never leave a message..I am sick of getting these calls..the goverment needs to find who is making them and give them heavy fines or/and jail time.

I got a call from them asking refinancing my student loans.  When I said I may want to although I refinance he hung up.

This number calls me at least 7 times a day and when I answered it once nothing was on the other end... total silence. I don't know who or what this number belongs to but it should be shut down and blocked if you can.

Called me saying they would lower my student loan payments by 50%..was suspicious because they were unusually evasive for a supposedly federal agency they claimed to be..
Would not give me a website etc...glad i came online to check

Student loan reduction

Called my cell phone and I hit ignore.

The caller said they had an important message about my student loan payments. I'm 73 and never borrowed money for either undergrad or graduate school. But it was a recorded message call, so I had no one to yell at.

I get calls from these guys every once in awhile.  Here is their page to contact them: http://www.telwestservices.com/contact/feedback.asp   I don't think that the problem is with this company, it's with one of their customers who is calling using their services for telecommunications.

Putting pressure on the company helps them get to the bottom of what their client is doing through their services.  Enough pressure may force Telwest to drop the customer and maybe report them to the FCC.

If you really want to move this to the next level. The parent company to Telwest is TelePacific Communications company.  Google them and check who else to contact about this problem.

It is quite strange that a year ago this time the phone number was about alarm systems and now that number is being used about student loans. When the number is called from a blocked number a message comes on stating it is a disconnected number belonging to Pacific Telecommunications and is no longer in service.
