I've just become tired of the calls, 7 or 8 so far.. BLOCKED!!..

Called claiming they were from.blue cross and needed to update my info! Don't think so! I don't even have a blue cross policy!

Got a call from this number, offering free medication from bcbs. He said his name was ross.. .
.

At least 2 calls a day. Nuisance.

Say they are from blue cross in Tampa and want to update my info scammers

caller id says "DONTANSWERSPAM"  Is that supposed to make one curious enough to answer?

Calls everyday for the last 7 days or so wanting to update my medical info. First said  w Blue  Cross Blue Shield then the next day said they represent many companys (including Humana & Blue Cross). I refuse to give info ask to be taken off list and put on do not call list and they hang up on me. Today  and yesterday they called me 2 times each day. I'm feeling almost harassed .Wth?

I get multiple calls a day from this number claiming to be from BCBS. They had partial information about me but still requested more information without giving reasons why. I've told them each phone call to not call me again.

Claims to be calling from "Medicare." Claims to be in US with a Canadian number. Heavy Indian/Pakistani accent mispronounced name they were looking for. SCAM!

Called several times, I did not answer, blocked the number.

Very suspicious--calling they were checking on my Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance--I don't have Blue Cross.  Told me they also represent other healthcare companies.  Asked to speak to a supervisor, another person with a thick accent got on--told me they needed to verify my birthdate and other information.  Lots of background noise and most certainly a scam.

Highmark has reported that some customers are receiving calls from someone claiming to be a Highmark employee and the person asks for personal information. Highmark is notifying customers that the calls are NOT from Highmark.

If customers have questions they should contact the Highmark Fraud Department at 1-800-438-2478.

The following details are available regarding the scam:

• The caller said they wanted to verify member information including name, address, and primary doctor, etc.

• These phone calls are NOT from Highmark or any of its diversified businesses.

• If you receive a phone call from 289-800-0303, please do not answer any questions and hang up immediately. These call are not affiliated with Highmark Health.

Scammer alleging they are calling from Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Death to scammers.

Caller identified as from Kaiser Permanente and she asked if my name was correct when I replied yes she cut off the call. I called the number back a little while later and the message said the number was not assigned.

I got the same call and said no to all their questions
