claimed to be from my insurance company and wanted to verify my information.  I don't have the insurance they were calling about and when i ask for whom they are verifying my info, they hung up on me.

called my fiance and knew his address, phone number, birthday, etc.... kicking myself for not telling him to hang up immediately. he said he would call back when my fiance knew his primary doctor's name

(289) 800-0303   Keeps calling about 2 to 3 times a week.  I never answer it.  But the callerid says "DONOTANSWERSPAM".   How about that?

CallerID said "dontanswerspam". Ironically funny. Answered, there was some noise on the other line, like background office workplace noise. I said, "You may speak" and the call disconnected.

Same as RegularDude above.  The man seemed to be asking me if I spoke English and then hung up.

Same for me today now worried but he had my info.  How???

this person called demanding my daughters medical information. Told me he was calling on behalf of BCBS. Would not give him any info and he hung up.

A female with Indian accent introduced herself as a BCBS rep, started confirming my address. I asked why are they calling from Canada. She hang up on me.

called claiming to be with United Healthcare & NOT a fake call .... needed to update my information told him to start with I wasnt born yesterday, joke lost in translation ... flat out refused to confirm or provide any personal info ... 4pm day before Christmas no way this was legit call

Christmas is Monday the 25th.  That means that tomorrow is Christmas Eve, not today.  Or did you come back from the future to tell us about a call you received tomorrow?

I also received calls from this number claiming to be BCBS verification department asking to verify my address, DOB and primary care provider. BCBS said this didn’t originate from them. What is BCBS doing to notify their members of this scam?

Have received several calls from this number, comes up as "Markham ON". Didn't answer the calls.

The caller identified himself as from blue cross blue shield and wanted to confirm data on record regarding healthcare address etc.  when questioned he hung up.

Definitely a scam call, claimed to be calling on behalf of Cigna to update my medical records. Wasted the guy's time for good 10 minutes and then asked for his supervisor and wasted his time for another 10-15 min haha. The guy even admitted he did not know acquiring medical record from any company without authorization of the person is a criminal act.

Said he was verifying info for insurance. Knew my name, address, DOB, etc., so got this from somewhere. When I refused to say I had pain he got his supervisor to ask me about my pain. I hung up.

Caller had foreign accent and was difficult to understand. Claimed to be from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and had a name and birth date, as well as address. They then asked for the name of the family doctor. They asked if pain has been reported, neck, back, shoulder - which I refused to answer.They then asked to confirm that we have blue cross blue shield, which made no sense. They tried to ask the pain question again, i hung up. They called back 3 times.

The same thing happened to me. He first said he represented CIGNA, and when I said I didn't have a CIGNA policy, he suddenly represented other health insurers as well.

Calling everyday - mixing up time of day late afternoon, early morning - Caller ID actually says DONTANSWERSPAM  goes to voicemail and they hang up.  Def. Spam
