The above number calls me several times a day. We answer but no one answers us. There is just a click and a dial tone. How can we stop these aggravating and annoying calls?

I have to agree  this phone # is bugging the shi* out of me  cals at least 5 times a day and when i answer they hang up

Have received multiple calls from this company at all hours of the day.  Like many others, when I did get a person, they were rude and abrupt as I tried to tell him that I wasn't interested in a warranty and wanted to be removed form their list.  If you have had a similar experience, PLEASE take the time to report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) at bbb.org.  The company info follows:  National Auto Division/ National Auto Association; 2323 Highway 9 North;  Howell NJ, 07731; 323-372-6392.  The more folks who register a formal complaint, the more likely there will be legal or law enforcement action.

This person keeps calling me. Like 5 times a day and I am tired of noone talking when I answer. they will not leave a message on my machine. Caller ID says it's NAD.Who is this?

I got a call from NAD tonight. They were asking for my grandmother who was never even linked to this phone number.  I got this unlisted number at what was her residence after she pasted away.   I tried asking who he was with and he hung up on me.  English was clearly not this persons first language.  I called the number back which there was no answer.

I started getting calls from this # about 8 months ago.  Told them from the very beginning I wasn't interested and to take my # off their call list, but they kept calling.  About a month ago, a woman called, I told her that countless times I requested for them to take my # from their call list, she replied' IT WASN"T ME WHO YOU TALKED TO'. I said so what?  Take my # off anyway!!!!!!  2 more times that day they called me, then hung up when I told them I wasn't interested.  Finally last month the calls started again, I told them "I have been repeatedly harrassed by you people, even after I told you to never call me again."  She replied, "are you sure it was this number?" I said yes, then she said she would remove me from their list.  That was the first time that any of the people on the other end of the line were polite.  Maybe they are actually doing what they should be doing now, which would be listening to the people they cause inconvenience to.

This number call several times a day no message is left and it hangs up when you answer... waking up my children they call all hours as well i would likeit to stop!!!!

Have been getting calls from this number say NAD never leaves a message. DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY ARE CALLING. Everyday about 9 am.....

I just received a call. When I answered, the guy said Hey, Mary (my roommate). I said no this is not Mary. He then said yes this is, I have voice recognition and this is Mary. Why are you saying that this is not Mary? I said this is not Mary can I ask who's calling? He said this is Mary and i don't understand why you're lying. The voice recognition knows that this is you.I said what company are you with? He said I'm not giving any information until you admit that this is Mary. The vocie recognition has picked up your voice. Just admit it. He was very aggressive and anxious. I hung up. This company NAD is on my Caller ID at least a few times a week all from different numbers based in California.

They have call centers out of Fresno, Stockton and Los Angeles, California. These people have been calling me for months. When I answer the phone, they just hang up. Once, they got my son on the phone whereas I took the phone and told the ~gentleman~ that I had called the FCC and I was making a complaint. I got a sinister laugh, was told to "just try" and then he hung up..... but the phone calls kept coming.

I immediately called the FCC with a list of times that they called and filed a complaint. I received a letter stating that they are within their rights to harass me..... from the FCC, no less! I immediately called the FCC back again and was told that a supervisor was assigned to my case. So far, I'm still waiting for a call back. I'll probably get it right after my usual morning call from NAD.

I am also considering calling the New Jersey Attorney General and filing a complaint. In California, it is against the law to do this, so maybe calling the Attorney General of California and submitting a list of times that these people have harassed you may be another alternative.

The phone number for the FCC is 1-888-CALL-FCC. You can give a representative your complaint over the phone. If enough people call, maybe these people can be put out of business. They will tell you to get listed on the "DO NOT CALL" list..... however, I did that and NAD still calls me.

This number calls my house more than 5x a week and they never call when my parents are home. But they called today and said  "are you the kid" i laughed and sai yes seeing as i'm 17 and not really considered a kid (a kid i consider 12 and under) he said oh well i'll just call back later this is really starting to get on my nerves everyday right hwne i come home from school i get a call from them .. their starting to piss me off

Okay, the FCC isn't the only one going after these creeps. You also have to file a complaint with the FTC, 1-877-382-4357. I spoke to a gentleman at the FCC this morning after my usual wake up call from NAD and he informed me that this was actively being pursued. He also informed me that this was being classified as a scam and that NAD was closed down in '09, but are up and running again in '10.

I called the FTC and filed a complaint whereas the woman told me that I also should contact and file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of New Jersey (www.njconsumeraffairs\gov to get your complaint form, fill it out and fax it to their offices - call for fax number) and the NC Attorney General's Office [(www.NCDOJ.gov) get the complaint form and fill it out and send it - it has to be sent by mail in NC].

This afternoon I will be locked up in my office filling out forms. I also will be attaching a signed letter documenting all of the calls that I have received from NAD and my progress with both the FCC and FTC.

I urge everyone to follow my lead. These people must me closed down. Oh yeah, NAD has changed it's caller ID number to 559-272-6487.

Just an update for all of you on this "NAD" problem. I contacted both NJ and NC Office of Consumer Relations at the Office of the Attorney General.

To date, I have received nothing from NJ, but today I received a letter with a complaint number from the AG in NC who has filed a serious complaint against these people. According to the letter that they sent to me from the office of Roy Cooper, NC doesn't go for this at all and if going after them. Yeah!

I can follow my "case" on line to find out what they will do to them.

Now for the other info I found out. This company is run by a CEO of a public company called Metro Marketing. His name is Ariel Freud. You can go after this man yourself if his company is harassing you by contacting your state's Attorney General (just make sure that you are on the "no call" list for a month before you make your complaint). List the times and dates of the calls and what the person said to you. No one should be allowed to call you several times a day and hang up - it's harassment and against the law.

N A D is a automotive warranty company, You were contacted b/c you most likely bought a car recently. This company has TERRIBLE customer service!!!! Don't expect to get anywhere with the low level reps calling as you will not get anywhere. When I told them I have requested to be removed from the list numerous times, they hang up on me, With no DNC or TCPA close "REQUIRED BY LAW". When I asked to speak with a supervisor a rep said "Oh sure, Hold one moment" and hung up on me... The only way to get these calls to stop that I know of is call the dealership you purchased the car from and file a complaint. Also File a complaint with the FCC at FCC.gov....... The FCC will research the complaints and levy fines against the company for not following the LAW!  This should stop the calls since just telling them your not interested or remove me from the list does not do anything....

They call me sometimes gosh leave me alone

This is a corporate office of the National Auto Division. If you call around 11pm you'll receive an automated system with prompts on how to remove your number from their roster. I did mine just now.
