This number has called us every evening about the same time for the past month.  When we answer there is no answer ... it's apparent it's a computer generated call.  We're tired of it!

330-492-2913. Comes up as EBSCO Teleservices. Calls are for subscription renewals...they would call 3-4 times a day as late as 9pm. I called them back and told them to put me on the DO NOT CALL list. The operateor was very polite and obliged right away...said it would take about 24 hours to fully get me out of the system.

There IS another way to get them to stop calling.

I am a shop owner who does business with an affiliate of Ebsco. Within several weeks of carrying their products, I began to receive annoying calls at various times of the day from Ebsco (like I have nothing better to do than answer annoying telemarketers).

ATTN Marketers: this is a lesson in how to lose a customer, a sale and get yourself noticed in all the wrong ways.

I asked the Ebsco rep who they were (playing dumb). They said that they were calling from this affiliate with whom I'd just begun doing business...

Playing dumb further...I asked, you work FOR them or, on BEHALF of them?

She then corrected her statement, "on behalf."

Then I fessed up. I informed her that I'd be calling my rep as soon as we hung up to report being continually harassed by Ebsco, their parent company since I'd began to buy their products and that I'd be much less likely to buy from them in the future.

This got her attention and I suggested that she remove us from her list.

I then reported them and told the same thing to my sales rep. This also went very noticed and will likely get escalated.

To all you trolls who proclaim that the good folks who report here will never be heard, this post is for you.

You're wrong.

this number calls everyday sometimes twice aday. i think the local FBI should check it out. I have connections.

Calls every night 2 times.

ebesco, calls every nite. i learned today they are collection agency for LOWES DEPT STORES>...I do not owe LOWES one penny, a relative of mine does.It is dirty pool, that they call me. Iwill contact the LOCAL FBI. Iwill report them.

We get a call nearly every day from this EBSCO Teleservice. They never leave a message. We want them to stop calling us.

We keep getting calls from this # and it does'nt stop even after I said we are on the DNC list. So I have decided to call and leave them a message saying I will not stop calling them until they take our # off their list. Maybe we should all think about filling the message center with our angry calls so they get the point and it might finally stop! I don't know but it's worth a try.

Repeated calls from this number recently.  I answered it with a very impatient voice tonight and said Hello? twice and no one said a word, so I hung up.  STOP CALLING ME!!  grrrr

I got a 2nd call and answered.  It is just a customer satisfaction company who calls on behalf of a service that you must have had in your home or something of that nature.  They told me they were calling on behalf of Durashield which is a basement waterproof company.  I had Durashield out to my house in May, which the survey company new about, and they asked me how it has been holding up and if I was happy with Durashield.  I told them I was busy to talk but Very Satisfied with Durashield.  That's all they needed and wanted.  No big deal.

A telemarketer. Calls every day, around dinner time. When I answered once, they said that they were calling for Newsweek. I told them to take me off their list. They did not and called back the next night. Totally, obnoxious.

I found that it was for a renewal for a magazine I subscribe to, I answered no I do not want to renew at this time.  They said they would take me off their list.  They were very nice during the call and did not try to divert me into anything else.
From annoyance to relief in one quick no-toll phone call.

if you people just answer the phone poitly n listen to what the other person has to say on the phone you might acatual realize that we have very good deals n just trying to save you money on something you already recive.
just listen when the worker get done speaking then you nicly ask then t put you on the DNC list,
but if your a dick,
then we prob will just mark to call back anytime.

oh n were allowed to call if you've done business with us in the past eighteen months.

I too am getting these calls, and they always hang up on me. If they're trying to sell something, it seems pretty foolish for them to hang up when you answer.

Isn't there some government agency they can be reported to for harrassment?

ETS has called me everyday for the last five days at 8 pm including Christmas! I just filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov
