I think that people don't realize how automatic dialers work.  The salesperson does NOT hear the phone ring- nor even when you say "hello".  The line on our end picks up after you say hello, so very often we don't know if it's a live person, or if you've hung up or it's a machine.
It's frustrating for us as well.

From what I have read this is trying to review subscriptions and/or sell something.  I do not want to be called.  Please stop call me.  I do not answer.

This company calls me everyday and I cannot stop them. What can I do?

You and your bosses need to learn something about the Federal DNC registry. Using an auto-dialer is not a free "get out of the DNC Jail card" excuse for you corporate idiots. Auto Dialers must be programmed or use auto dialing programs that interface with allowable number listings to legally call these numbers.

Keep calling several times a day with no messages.

Stop calling me

I've been getting calls from this number for the past 3 weeks, usually at least twice a day. I haven't answered the phone when they call, now I see from other's comments that it is someone calling regarding a magazine subscription. I also listed my home number on the Do Not Call list again, we'll see how long it takes for the calls to stop.

Yes you do, Its called the Do Not Call list and it is Federal Law

How about I call your house over and over everyday and hang up when you answer?

Calls 20 times a day 7 DAYS A WEEK... never leaves message !!! STOP!!!!!!!

This company has bombarded us with marketing calls.  When we call them back the phone switches to the voice mail of a private cell phone number.  When that number is called it is to a private party who is not involved with Ebsco.  This private person is also plagued with phone calls from all the Ebsco callers.  He says he has tried everything to stop this to no avail.  Where are authorities who can stop this?  I will not buy a product that uses Ebsco.

The point most of you are missing is this  - If a company has you in their database because you purchased something from them or their business partners - the DNC list does not come into play as you are a "warm lead" . DNC is for true cold calling - in this case it sounds like you all have purchased a magazine subscription at some point - you are a customer - they can call you all they want.

Call this number, tell them to put you on the do-not-call-list. 800.456.5105 They'll ask you for the number where they're reaching you. Tell them;...they'll politely tell you it might take at least 24 hrs, but your request will be honored.

Sick of these people; who are they?

I called 800.456.5105 and asked to be removed from their database; I was told it takes 24 hours; I DON't CARE -  REMOVE MY NUMBER!!!!!!.  STOP CALLING ME!  LEt's see if it stops.  They tell me it is regarding a magazine renewal - summer promotion..................... GO AWAY!!!
