Please, somebody find out how to get an address where these scumbags are operating from.  I know plenty of people in NY and NJ...  the kind of people that would go an pay these [***] a little visit...know what I mean???

Little Oriental woman at this number keeps calling for my boss, something about "yellow pages" - damned if I can understand her and damned if I'm transfering someone who sounds like a scared 12 year-old to my boss.  I told her that he has someone who handles advertising and to take our # off her list. Let's see if she understood me!

Same BS with me. Called to say that I needed to cancel my Yellow Pages ad. Wanted to give me a ten digit number that I would then give to the cancellation manager when she called in a few minutes. He (he identified himself as Ronnie David) said when she called I should clearly say "yes" when she asked if I wanted to cancel my ad. I said this ends now and hung up. I've been bugged by phoney "Yellow Pages" phone calls for several years now and have received bills in the mail. This scam company seems to be run out of Canada but uses New York/New Jersey as a front location.

same thing. I told them to shove the bill and learn to speak proper english.

They said pay the bill and then they would correct it next cycle.

I gave them my attorney's name and number.

I am in PA and this happened in NJ.  which BBB should this be reported to?

If you receive a phone call from this number 347-418-0489 and they threaten you in anyway, Please report it to your state attorney general.  
If they are not willing to give you your salespersons name and a call back number they can be reached at, it is most definately a scam.  
Do not ever say the word yes in the conversation as they may hack it and make false recordings.
We have not yet been able to figure out who this company is, but when we do, the authorities will be notified.

I have received several calls from the same number and i told them i have nothing to cancell because we did not authorize anything in the first place. I also told them that i reported then to The FTC and the FCC for which i did. Not that it will do any good.

Called us two times in a row, asking if we were "special spaces" and if we wanted to renew our yellow pages ad. When we told him we didn't know what he was talking about, he began to talk in circles. He then told us "well go to your kitchen and cook for your kids then" in a heavy indan accent. He hung up, and called right back. Saying he was looking fr special spaces again. I asked him if he had a problem? He said, "well then go to your kitchen". And hung up. Reporting this number to the police.

Downloiad the "Mr. Number" app to your phone, it will alert you to the fact that is is suspected spam and then add it to your blocklist.  Free app worth its weight in gold!!

call no message, than hang up. Tried to redial could not get through.

I just got a call from them.  said Hello twice.  they knew my business name but they got cut off in mid sentence.  I expect they'll call back.

Same scenario as everyone else: Indian man calling from (347) 418-0489 to speak to the manager about our request to cancel our Yellow Pages online ad.  We do have a free online ad, but no one had requested canceling - I'm the only one who does any of that within our business.  He rambled on that I had signed up in ** of 2009 during their free promotion period and the 1st year had been free.  The second year was not and he was authorized to cancel it for me today and he would give me a cancellation number and send the final invoice for $599.99.  WHAT!?!  That totally clued me in.  No way would I have made that kind of mistake.  He couldn't tell me who signed up for the ad or who initiated the so-called cancellation request...that was all going to be in the packet.  He also said that by authorizing him to send them, I wasn't saying I was going to pay, but could look at it and then pay it.  Ha!  He was insistent that I cancel now or my ad would automatically renew for another year.  I said that's BS (& I NEVER cuss) and said he was NOT "authorized" to send me the documents because I knew I'd never authorized the ad in the first place.  Glad I didn't fall for this!  They've called back several times today. No messages & hit "ignore.". Just googled the number and found this.

I got the same scam.  THey called at least 5 times today saying they wanted me to cancel an add and that I owed them $599.99.  I had no such ad with them.  This is total bull.  They don't even speak English!
Does anyone know how to report them to the BBB and stop them?  Thanks!

347-418-0489 calls my fax machine. I try to call back and the number is always busy. After reading other posts this really seems to be a scam. Why would the phone company call my fax machine for a non existent yellow page ad.

I got two calls again from these nimnals and no answer when I picked up the phone.  I called the numer and a recording said the number was no good.

I just recieved a call from this number, and it sounded like an american, no noticable accent.  I answered the phone with a very assertive "hello" and he said hello and then hung up.

I get one call everyday from this number.  Today someone answered when I picked up the phone and said hello.  The person hung up.  

What good does it do to report this number here if nothing is done about it?  I have reported these annoying calls several times.
