Just thought you should know that there is, in fact, an American Chamber of Commerce. Both of my businesses are members. There are a couple of them, actually. The US Chamber of Commerce website actually says at the top of the page "American Chamber of Commerce", their website is www.uschamber.com. Then there's the American Chamber of Commerce Executives. Their website is www.acce.org. There is also an American Chamber of Commerce in a few different countries, who represent businesses that are American owned but operated in that specific country. I know the US Chamber and the ACCE both use third party caller and answering services for the purposes of customer service, selling memberships, etc., so maybe the call could have come from one of them. I would definitely check out their websites and find the "Contact Us" link and report this number to them and what was said in the call.

A man called and asked me to verify our business name, address, business owner, and number of employees. He had all of this information and it was correct. When I asked who was calling he said "Chamber of Commerce." Caller ID said Bellevue, NE

They asked a whole bunch of questions regarding my husbands business and when I asked who they were they hung up on me

Just received a call from this number, the dude said that he was from Chamber of Commerce and wanted to speak with the owner etc...  Gotta be telemarketer or some sort...

They just called Our Business too. Asked who the Current Owner/Manager was, How many employees we had last year and hung up.

my husband just got a call from them asking him who own our business ask what name was she knew our address  ,said she was some chamber  .just looked it up looks like a scam

I just got this same call. It was a young man who kept clearing his throat and didn't sound very sure of himself. Anyway, I verified the name & address of the business since it could have been a legit call for my business. But when he asked for the manager's or owner's name, I asked what this was in reference to. He said the Chamber of Commerce. Figured it was BS so I said "no thanks" and hung up.

same to me, I read that they go after corporate information and then sell your information on black market.  can we sue them?

This number keeps calling the office. they say they are the chamber of commerce.  they are very rude and demand company info.

A guy called me and asked me questions.
He did not introduce himself. When I asked " who are you? what's your business?"  He turned off. I blocked  this number forever.

Received a hang up call this AM. I don't have a business but previous owner of number did & it WAS medical related, even after having this number more than a year I still get calls almost everyday looking for them so I don't answer any number I don't recognize.

Person called asked business name and verify address then hung up before gave them complete address

called asked if company was still located at an old address stated no gave a fake P.O. Box number. Asked who was calling again and hung up after stating his name was Marquan

Got same message. We are in healthcare.

Same scenario.  He asked to confirm my business name, location, owner, and how many employees work for me. Said he was calling from the American Chamber of Commerce and his name was Aaron.

I received a phone call from this number. the caller was a rude woman. She asked me if this is so and so business @ so and so address. The address she gave me was my home address. I was very suspicious when I asked who was this she hung up.
