The lady asked me to confirm my business name. I told her. Then she wanted to know my full name, she hung up after I said NO.

Caller ID says Bellevue NE. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Blocked.

Called my cell phone through my toll free number. Talking to client at time so didn't answer. Glad I checked here as this sounds like a phishing expedition .

Who are these dorks? Phishing call.

The caller sounded like a recording:  "Hello?   Hello?   I think I called the wrong number."  Caller hung up.  I'm not sure why they would put this kind of message on an auto-dialer.

It's a recording that says "Hello....hello...oh I'm sorry, I must have the wrong number"  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Tying up business lines with utter nonsense. When you call the # back, it says person not available, leave msg after tone!

I just received a call form this number - I answered the phone and they acted like they weren't hearing me and hung up.  That seemed weird so I googled the number and found this page.  Same thing happened to others. And it sounds like having a conversation with these folks is even more of a waste of time. Gees!

they called me (female voice, apparently)  today requesting information about my personal address, business and name. I asked who was calling and hung up. Called back and just got an answering machine; annoying experience .

This number keeps calling our business but when we answer they hang up.  They call multiple times in the day.

Similar situation to others'. Did not identify himself, just began asking about the business. When asked, he said he was with the chamber of commerce. Just FYI for anyone who's wondering, a chamber of commerce will not make such calls. I'm not sure what their scam is, but it's not a legitimate call.

This is undoubtedly a scam call. I don't know what they're after, but IT IS NOT LEGITIMATE. This is not how professional organizations conduct business. For starters, a legitimate caller would clearly identify him/herself and explain the purpose of the call before saying anything else and most definitely without having to be pressed for this information. That's just for starters. The phone call I answered degenerated further until the call was ended.

They call often and say tell our secretary they are from the "Chamber of Commerce."  She always tries to get more information since we are in Indiana and the Nebraska Chamber seems fishy....  This time they asked my if XYZ employee still works here and I sad "I'm sorry, he passed away in December of 2015" and they said in terrible mumble "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that" and immediately hung up on me.

They asked for the owner and when I said that she was not here, the woman on the other end hung up.

Said they were calling from the Chamber of Commerce

Recording that tried to sound like a real person: "Hel-hel-hello?  Hello?  I'm sorry, I think I dialed a wrong number" before I could even say anything.  Probably something to see if a number is valid or not for future telemarketing...

Rude man called our office phone, he evidently heard me quote the attorney's name and immediately said, I believe I have the wrong number and hung up.  When I searched the number on google, I see that he is a spammer, or telemarketer or something of that nature.  The caller ID shows "Omaha, NE."

Answered the phone.  "I'm sorry,  Wrong number" .  The number was 402.403.0068 showing Bellevue, Nebraska
