Daughter has a college checking account with debit card attached to our checking account. (Separate accounts, but we guarantee her account with our account.) She has had three debit card charges applied to her account yesterday that were supposedly through PayPal that have this phone number attached as part of the transaction. None of the transactions were hers.

Sounds like PayPal may have an internal employee skimming account information, if this phone number is a legitimate PayPal phone number.

THIS WAS DONE DIRECTLY FROM OUR BANK ACCOUNT AS A DEBIT CHARGE.

SO, If it's not enough that he's stealing from me and our own bank accounts, because of his compulsive spending, and the types of sites that he frequents, my soon to be ex, left us wide open for this sort of scam. What showed up on my Bank Account was "texasstateh4029357733" charge and the damage was for 100.00 as well. Being that my future ex is from Texas it didn't surprise me at all that he would spend money on something worthless Texas memorbilia or such. So... that's that. Let's see IF I can get a refund... But the hits just keep on coming.... Best of Luck Everyone.

See an unrecognized charge on my credit card noted as Chris 402-935-7733.

I found this number losted on a FedEx bill and I didn't know the charge ($183) I tracked the number & it's from someone I bought a phone off of on Ebay-in California.

Last Sunday, VISA called me to report some questionable purchases.  They indeed were bogus and stopped them.  Today, I noticed my phone bill had a 51-cent charge for a 10-minute call to Nebraska that I don't remember making.  I looked up the number and these comments appeared. Now, I did make a purchase via PayPal but that was done all on-line. Hmmmmm.........VISA is sending papers to prepare a fraud investigation. Believe me, I will tell VISA about these guys.

Today I got an email from my bank about an overdraft charge to my checking account.  $50 was charged to my checking account from: PAYPAL LHTZ28 402 935 7733 CA  

I have not made any purchases since February 8th, and it was not through Paypal.  I have submitted a dispute to my bank.  Hopefully, I will get the money back, but either way I may be deleting my Paypal account.

I am a morther of 4 young boys, I was charged for $....on my credit card from above number. How this could have had happened. Please sort this thing out to prevent further occurences.

Am reconciling my checking acct. and find a chg. of $ 15 from Paypal, with the phone nbr. 402.935.7733 and the word "TAMIJOYSISE" after Paypal.  The difference between this charge and legitimate Paypal charges is that this one reads Merchant Sales Slip, instead of the usual EFT ACH.
I'm contacting my bank to have this removed.  People tell me they never reconcile their accounts - DO IT - it'll save you money.

Somebody made a purchase from "FOREXSRSTREND" for $97 on my American Express card.  AmEx says the charge came through PayPal.  The phone number listed under this vendor is 402-935-7733!

They've suspended the charge and will investigate.

This credit account is only 2 months old, somebody just snagged it and decided to share it.

This number showes up on my bank statement twice!

I had an unauthorized charge from my debit card without even a Paypal account with the following trace:
Paypal 4029357733 caus trace #****.  with the amount.

I filed a police report following my credit union advice. Also, I called Paypal (402-935-7733) and the service person was very helpful but there's no information that I could get other than the person's name (sounds fictitious)  who apparently used my debit card. Sure, he reassured me that they will investigate and Paypal will let me know the result within 20 days. If Paypal find that it's fraudulent, they will reimburse my money.

It's ridiculous that I can't get any information about the person who used my card. Don't victims have the right?

I got a suspicious charge on my bank account. The referenced number was 402-935-7733. In checking I find that this is a phony number. This is the info on my bank record. Paypal denied my request for unathourized charge on my account because there's a Paypal charge on my card for about $5 that I did not see several months ago.  I asked Paypal for the address of the person that I apparently I paid so that I can dispute it myself but Paypay do not want to give me.  Who the hell Paypal is protecting? If they assumed that I used my card then give me the information so that I can dispute it myself.  Furthermore, fraud is fraud. It does not matter if I missed the previous charge. After I was put on hold, Paypal's representative came back and told me that they will reinvestigate and let me within two working days.

I'm waiting for Paypal.

I had two $1.00 charges on my bank account, one was from ROCKYOU inc and the number 4029357733. The other just showed the address 2211 North 1st St in San Jose, CA which is the eBay cafe.

I received a charge to my check debit card with bank of America for $45. + a fee for foreign exchange from Paypal (402-935-7733) VodafoneAUS Merchant Category: Electronic Stores, Category Code 5732.  I do not have a PayPal Account nor did I purchase anything via the INTERNET.  Somehow they got my card number and made the fraudulent charge.  BOA to their credit canceled the card, replaced it within 24hrs, and credited the money back into my account. WATCH YOUR ACCOUNTS CLOSELY!
