i got a call from 402-978-7565 and it's my boyfriend who is Newton County Correctional Facility, 2403 East Court St., Newton, TX, 75966, Phone: 409-379-3000.  My boyfriend is incarcerated in Harris County Texas for 6 months and the jail is over crowded so he was sent here to do his time.  This is a legitimate call.  The first time they call if your phone can't except collect calls (cell phone, etc.) they give you an 800 # to call (866-345-1884)  www.accesscorrections.com or www.inmatedeposits.com

I got a call from this number, was not sure who it was so I did not answer.  Got a automated voicemail.  I googled the number and recieved this message.

I got 2 phone calls from phone # 402-978-7565. I pushed the prompt button to block calls from Newton Correctional Facility, only to get another call from the same number within 15 minutes. My question is,"Is this a scam, or is this a prisoner trying to get in contact with anyone that will help?"

i recieve a called from jail then I call back and realize that the number don't exist

Saying that it was a Collect call from the Rappahannock Regional Jail??? After calling the phone company they said thjat they cannot access the number and or help in this matter???

this number is used from several missouri correctional centers.  do an inmate search and it will tell you what location they are at

got 2 calls from number wanting me to accept a collect call...i hung up.  someone mumbled something but i didn't even listen to it

Just received two phone calls this evening (July 11, 2011) claiming it was an attorney and the phone call was attorney client privileged.

I received 9 phone calls from this number spanning 11:30 p.m. on 7/3/2011 to 3:11 a.m. on 7/4/2011.

Got a call on my work cell from this number asking me to accept a collect call from "Danny". I didnt accept and hung up. It rang again a moment later asking me to accept the collect call again and the same guy voice stated " Its me ". Havent heard anything since.

Called me and something to do with prison. Keeps bugging me with calls.

the number 402-978-7565 is an outbound tie line to Accurate Communication a company that provides inmate calling solutions (?) in several states and jails/prisons.  You get a recorded announcement along with instructions and the voice of the person calling (they have 2 secondes to announce their name).  You can accept or reject the call.  Company profile show several "offices" in states across the US.  The number is registered in Omaha NE.

Received 25 calls in one week.  Always a recording in Spanish.

This is where calls come from the Bates County Jail in Butler MO. My husband is there, unsure why its an Omaha, NE number but it is. You can look up info on the facilty by searching the facility name.

I received a call from this number with the same as others.  Thank goodness I cannot accept collect calls
