- BrendaThey just left a message on my machine and I am also on the DNC list.
- DLaurPLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CALL THE FTC AND FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT. I JUST DID AND WAS TOLD IF THE FTC GETS BOMBARDED WITH COMPLAINTS THEY WILL MOVE THIS UP ON THE PRIORITY LIST. Federal trade Commission Phone - 877-382-4357. LET'S DO THIS TOGETHER AND STOP THESE CROOKS :)
- DLAURALSO CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF YOUR STATE, PLEASE DO IT NOW!
- mvrthese are some rude people now I press 1 act like I am interested and waste there time like they waste mine and they always end up hanging up on me LOL
- SandraI had forgotten about this number! My mom was home and I remember getting the call at 7:21pm PST. I live in Riverside County CA. I looked up the 407 area code and it is from Orlando Fl.
The thing is-I have recieved 3 phone calls in 3 days! Today (March 26th) from 407-678-3247 about lowering credit card rates since "WE" (who is "WE" I have no clue!) are paying our credit cards on time.
407-658-4338 about a car warrenty (we did get this same message about a week ago)
And 407-000-1919 about a lower interest rates on cc's.
It's all due to the stupid economy and people are taking advantage of other people. Since many people are out of work and are home looking for work either online (or driving to look to work) stupid people just call land lines and cell phone to piss us off. I'm so sick of it all.
I'm wondering if the bail out helped these stupid companies in providing an automated system to call everyone on the DNC list. I know I'm on it. Every 5 years the numbers need to be updated, but I alreaady updated (re-entered) our number.
Next time they call, I'm going to have loads of fun with them. - walter petersonThey ask my millage and then hang up
- Caller: unkown
- plmblocokeep calling and saying this my final chance to reduce credit card rates.
- MKSame complaint as others. Person has called several times about auto warranty. When I push 1 to tell person not to call back they hang up. When I try to call back they say number is disconnected.
- SoniaI got the same caller. I knew immediately that the call was some kind of a scam since my car is from 1991!
When I asked him who he was, he got nasty and said he was cancelling my warantee immediately since I refused to cooperate. Sounded like a wannabee Nazi.
Why can't the Attorneys General of states or federal stop these people. The cumulative time they waste probably adds up to a human life. Prosecute them for murder. OK for violating nuisance laws.
Does anyone know what they are trying to accomplish? - Bernie HalversonI try to call back and I get it is disconnected
- Stanle AbercrombieI keep getting a phone call from 407-658-4336 about a car warranty. I live with my dad and I have a celphone but it's underneath his name cause he pays the bill on it, but it's my celphone.
The people keeps calling the Land Line number.
He drives and I don't.
I take the Local bus and other means of Transportation.
I'm a Disable man at the age of 45, I'll be 46 years old on Wed. March 10,2010.
My dad bought him a 2008 Chrysler 300 with a Hemi Engine in it.
My dad works Monday thru Friday, and off Saturdays And Sundays.
I'm by myself those 5 days until he comes home at night.
I tryed the calling the number back on my celphone and not the Land Line.
I have MetroPCS which is Unlimited Local Calls and Unlimited Long Distance, which means I can call anywhere in the United States and all him and I have to pay is the monthly fee.
When I try to all them back, the recording operator said that number was disconnected.
I had a phone call from them again today (03-31-09).
That's strange when they called me from 407-658-4336 and I turned right around and try to call the BACK and the phone number is disconnected!!!
I want this to STOP!!!!
Thanks!!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stanley Abercrombie
Irving (Dallas County),Texas - Diane GordonI've been getting calls from this number, too. It can be such a hassle to either call them back to remind them of the "Do Not Call" list, or try to get it blocked by your phone company. Take note of the number, and just don't answer. Important thing to remember is your phone is for YOUR convenience. Don't answer these kind fo calls.
- Caller: no message left
- annoyed ny'erI also received a call from this # 1 407 658 4336 today and pretty much every day the past couple of weeks. I don't have an answering machine so I see this # on my caller ID. We too are on the DNC registry. Today, I happened to be hope and selected option 2 for no mire calls. Lets see what tomorrow brings! It is so annoying but gratefully, I am moving in 4 weeks and getting a new #. Hope they can't get that one as well. I guess time will tell.
- Caller: unknown
- karynI get calls at work, on my cell - constantly. I ask they remove me and they hang up! I am on the DNC list... it doesn't matter to them. Our congress has many things to handle but I really don't want to to spend my paid for minutes on solicitations I do not want. they need to pass a law against this harassment.
- Caller: National auto Warranty Services
- DkalAs Jeff mentioned, "To file a complaint on this company call the FTC Federal trade Commission at 877-382-4357."
When I did, the guy at FTC said they are a known problem and are just phishing for personal and financial information. They have no intention of trying to sell you an extended auto warranty through Qwest Communications as someone previously was talking about. They just want your credit card number, bank account number, etc., so they can steal your identity. That's what the FTC guy said any way. I can believe it.
The only way the FTC will act on this is if enough people call them to complain about it ... SO CALL THEM!
Again, the FTC phone number to report them is 877-382-435. - DonWhen they answered, I told them I couldn't let my warranty expire, and asked them which car is it. A long pause..... I told them that they called me, so I wanted to know which of my 5 cars was due to expire.....a long pause.
I then told them I would sign up all 5 if they could tell me which one was expiring. maybe I can annoy them into stopping ! - G HealyCan you please stop calling me I dont have a car and don't need 1
- adnapevolGot a call from this number this morning too. Did not leave a voicemail. I will probably call them back and try to irritate them. I work in a call center (travel agency) and might be able to push some buttons. :)
- MRCThis company calls not only from Florida but also from the 916 area code as well; I received a call on 3/30 at 9:09 am; like everyone else, it states via automated message that it's the final call on my auto warranty-by the way, my car is 11 years old! It no longer has any warranty, the fools! It's pretty clear this is a total scam, but the reality I'm afraid, is that no matter how hard we try, these scumbags will forever continue to come up with new ways to torment hardworking people just fighting in many cases to keep their heads above water-too bad they couldn't be found and wind up with a class action lawsuit to make believers out of them!! Maybe that would slow some of these jerks down!
- KimoJust received a call. Did not pick up. Never left a message. Called the number; then a recording, "the number you have reached...." then a busy signal.
