Got a call from this number today regarding a car warranty and I picked it up. I pressed one to speak to a rep and when he asked me for the vehicle information, I replied that they were calling me and I didn't know which car it was for. He then said, "You picked up the f*cking phone, b*tch," and hung up.

I immediately dialed the number and was told that it was disconnected.

Amazing.

These calls, with a rude female voice, saying they had called me numerous times and I must call back immediately, are becoming obessive.  I'm fully aware they have called numerous times, at least they are now admitting it.  Do these people have no life.

These calls as well as others from unsolicted operations are to my business which is even more frustrating as we run a "by appointment only" practice so these intrusions are very disturbing.

Any suggestions on how to stop this?

Answer the phone, keep them on the line as long as possible

If you get angry and hang up THEY win, if you can make them waste time with their lame "sales pitch" it really pisses them off, they get angry, the more I laugh in their ear yelling "telemarketer rodeo, 10 minutes baby!" the angrier they get, these folks would rather you just hang up then waste their time.

This number calls every day and I am on a no call list.

This same number called me about an auto warranty.  I pressed one and a person wanted the year and make of my car.  I told them I would call them back, he hung up on me.  THIS IS SOME SORT OF SCAM, I'M CERTAIN.

Got Irate with the man, telling him to stop calling me, and hung up on him.
He calls back from 425-366-4620
Told him to get a life, and he responds with "You just declared war, [***]"
I called my local police, and they filed a formal complaint, as I considered this a threat.
I called the FTC, and while they took my complaint, they explained that these scam artists have a scrambling device of some kind, where the number they are calling from, is not their actual number. (hard to trace)  
Sounds like their is not much you can do about it.

Once I found this site I filed a complaint with the ftc.

My wife has delt with them many times, telling them to take us off the list and they hang up, well today I picked up and said "We asked to be taken off the list." to which he replied "Yeah? How's that going for you? I'll talk to you tomorrow."

What a prick, after reading though all the complaints here, it seems best to waist their time and piss them off so they hang up. Maybe I'll play senile or tell them I have a 87 Pontiac 6000, see if they'll offer me a warranty then.

yea, these folks who are calling us all hrs of the day clearly have no respect for other ppl's lives. just cause they dont have one. i dont know what type of thrill they get out of these stupid unwanted calls, gosh if only there is a way to track these idiots & get to the bottom of it.

golly i got 12 similiars calls just today alone & the day aint even over yet!

I work all day and have vonage.  When I get these annoying calls I change my call (when I turn my router off) forwarding on to the last one of these places to call me.  

Currently I'm forwarding the on to 9495026200 (mortgage, or Verizon scam; I can't remember).  

I suggest you do the same.  Waste their time

I've gotten several calls from this number.  This time they hung up but it is usually the auto warranty scam.  Does anyone know how to block these calls?  There has to be a way to block calls.  I'm going to research it.

Got my umpteenth call today from these dimwits. I pressed one to get an operator. Instead of hanging up he listened for while while I berated his employer. After about 20 seconds I said look, you sound like a nice college kid who is just earning some money, but your employer is an immoral idiot. He wanted to know how I knew he was a college kid, and I told him I have two boys in college currently, and that he should Google the phone number to see if I was lying to him. The last thing he said was - I have to go right now or I'll be in trouble and hung up. Nice kid. Too bad his employer is an a$$hole.

got a call today. what do they expect us to tell them? They want the vin# make model color ext. so that they can sell the info and scam people out of their money. they did me a**holes.

We have been getting these calls for months, at our place of business, home and cell phones. This is extremely annoying and wastes too much of my time. I have been thinking that since we a have an older auto dialer (previous tenant left it behind), we could put in all their known numbers and pound the hell out of them until they decide to take us off their damn list. If you have any additional numbers for these bottom feeders post them here, we will check back periodically and let you know what has happened.

I just got a call today from this number. I told him I wasn't interested but thanks anyways and he responded "You're a hoe right?". HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL IN BUSINESS!

I have received several calls from this number..in fact I just (5-7-09 @ *:45 pm) received one. When I returned the call I got a recording that this number has been disconnected. I am on the National DNC as well as the Texas DNC. Tomorrow I will be calling our Attorney General and State prosecutors office to see what can be done. Thanks to eveyone who has posted before me about this scam.

My number is only the Do Not Call list.

I have been receiving several of these calls telling me my auto warranty is about to expire.  I usually hang up but this time I pressed 1 and when the caller asked for my make & model of auto I told him it didn't matter as I was on the do not call list and he hung up on me.  I am rporting them to the do not call list.
