same as the others; final call....car warranty. I have pressed 2 to be removed from the list but I'm still being called.  I have pressed 1 to talk to a rep and when I begin by saying "I have received numerous calls," they hang up.  The first time I got the call, I asked the rep what car they were calling about.  I was asked the yr and model of my car.  I told the rep that since he called me, he should know what car warranty he was calling about. He hung up.  How do we stop this?  It's making me nuts!

Just complained to the FTC about them... nothing new there...

But I am thinking the next time they call I will start talking calmly then blow a whistle as loud as I can... might as well have fun with them!!!

I am bad about not answering if I don't recognize the number, so I have never answered.  When I call it back, it says the number has been disconnected, even if I turn around and call them right back.  This happens several times a day, and it's getting annoying.

Same thing as everyone else. I've been on the DNC list for years. I get at least 2 calls a day from the same company, different phone numbers. Tonight I finally pressed the button to speak to someone. When I asked for the company name and a contact phone number to a manager or the head person the guy "John Reyes" went ballistic. I retaliated by yelling and he and his crew began laughing in the background. He couldn't give me a phone number and wouldn't tell me how this company supposedly knew my warrantly was about to expire (which it isn't). When I told him I had the number on my caller i.d. and I was about to call the police and have it traced he immediately hung up on me.

They called me at 9am and woke me up.  They did after asking them to remove me, hung up on me.  This is very rude, considering I'm on the dnc list.  I've reported them to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and you should too, unless you care to have these jerks continue bugging the hell out of everyone here.

LoKi here with another tip for all of you people angry over calls like this. Time is money to these people, your goal is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, I call this "telemarketer rodeo". Go along with the whole spiel ask questions seem genuinely interested and do everything you can to keep them on the phone (my personal best is 9 minutes 43 seconds)

Today I only managed 5 minutes, but I seem to have upset the salesman when it got time to pick an option I started ordering double cheesburgers, he then tried to get vulgar but was drowned out by me laughing and yelling "telemarketer rodeo" in his ear, he ended up hanging up with me still laughing. I promise you, he was madder than any of you at this point, believe me.

    Have fun with these people.

Like all the other calls, this was an offer to provide an extended auto warranty.  I've gotten quite a few of these calls and being on the "Do not call list" does not help at all.  I'm retired now, and have lots of free time, so now I answer the call, ask a lot of questions, and waste as much of their time as I can before telling them that I'm on the "do not call list" and will always ansewer and waste their time if they continue to call.  They like to use the "F" word a lot by this time, so I know they don't like it.  We should all do this and maybe it would have an impact on the calls.

I have received countless calls from these people, as well as others uncountable.  There is no real cure forthe problem, as the national do noot calll list is apparently a joke to the hard core lawbreakers.

So i have adopted my own strategy for dealing with the situation.  It may be insignificant, probably won't change anything either.  But it will control how I spend my money.  I now keep a list of companies that have called me, a complete list.  Any company that disturbs my tranquility with a telemarketing call goes on that list.   I then refer to it whenever I consider buying anything of value.  If you're on the list, I will NEVER DEAL WITH YOU.  EVER!  That goes for both the telemarketer AND any brand names that they might mention.

Take your telemarketing and your peorducts and put them where the sun don't shine!
I admit it's extreme, but one has to do something.

    BEEN FRAUDED
It's called phone spoofing.  This is mostly done by collection agencies.
They pretend to be someone else and getting enough info from you to create
an account.  Next thing you will get is a paper threat to pay something in
full or go to court.  Some of us have been dealing with these bottom
feeders for months and years.  We have programs that track and trace these
numbers and then match them to the time and dates with the phone company.
None have matched the actual caller.  They also spoof themselves as your
neighbors. Advice: take your bill or some proof to the phone provider and
have them trace.  If you owe money or have ever in the past, you can bet
places like these will be faking themselves as someone else to get the
data they need. Type:"phone spoofing" in your browser or here's a site for
    a start: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing .  Everyone
should be aware of these activities for their own protection. Also see:
    "predictive dialers" and "VOIP".

I had that call at a minimum every other day for the last several weeks/months. I finally stayed on the line and got some creep and politely told him I wanted to talk to the supervisor. He gruffly went "Wait" and then the music played. The supervisor (guy) came on and I told him "Listen, thanks for calling but any chance I can get a call later? I'm busy f*****g your wife and your daughter is in line next." He said "F**k you" to me and hung up. Oh well, at least I got him a bit annoyed, too. They are jerks..I bet they are in prison doing telemarketing. Advice: hang up on 'em.
