I got a call from this number almost every. I've never answered. I am not gonna answer this phone.Stupid and nnoying!

got called couples of time by them, phone never rang, just message that I missed the call?

Thank You so much for this - I gave them a call and the receptionist toiok my number and said it would take only a few hours and then no more phone calls from this number!  Great!!

If they phone again, I will phone to the receptionist and ask kindly to get on their internal do-not-call list.

They said they were doing a courtesy call from Scotiabank.  They're probably a telemarketing company hired by different institutions.  They were calling for my son, but he wasn't home.

Constantly have the number coming up on my phone, but I never answered until tonight. The rep said he works for Optimum Communications and said, "You have a loan with ____ bank that is underwritten by _____," and then he made some mention of how he wanted to talk to me about some coverage. I said, "no thanks," and then hung up. I then followed the instructions from the user on here who wrote "to get removed call their head office at 416-581-1236 and press 0 for receptionist and request that you be put in on their internal do not call list." I left a voicemail with the general mailbox and asked to be removed. Hopefully they actually do it.

I got this call several times and when I answer the call, I hear phone ringing sound...

Just received a call from 416-313-4982

lady on other end wanted to speak to someone who was in charge of our payroll.
when I asked her what this was pertaining  to, she said she wanted to offer our company free consultation for upgrading.
I asked her the name of her company and she avoided the question and continued to try and sell me on her  product.
she was adamant on speaking with the person in charge of that department, I told her that we were not interested and hung up.

Received a call from 416-313-4982 at 10:45 this morning.

I did not answer the call and there wasn't any vmsg from this number.
Later in the evening, I called this number via Skype and of course their office is closed.
But the voice mail said, they're calling from Optima Communication International Inc.

Another dirty marketing..

This is the Canadian Securities Institute trying to get former students to re-enroll with them.

Check with the phone company that you are with. You can usually set up what they call "call screening". For me, it's *60. After that you just follow the instructions and what it does is it blocks that number from calling you again. It only takes a few seconds but it's worth it. I know it sounds mean, but I do it for charities also. We give a lot of money to charities each year, but I don't want to be called to donate... they try to make you feel guilty when you've already given lots. It's extremely frustrating.

called wouldn't answer when i picked it up NUISANCE

The number calls me everyday many times! but I never answered! cause I know this is a garbish number and cannot pick it up....I just don't understand why and how can they earn money in this unethic way...

I just got a call from them. Answered and they hung up.

They called mentioning the Nova Scotia Bank I told them that I was busy and hung up. We will call you back.-Weird
The phone number does not give in the 411. How can they get away with it?

Have gotten quite a few calls from this #. When I answer they hang up. Very, very annoying.
If it's a telemarketer, they should be happy you answer, not hang up on you!!
