Look we all know telemarketing calls are annoying...but really if you don't like this number calling you just ask them nicely to take you off the calling list and it will be done. Hanging up or being rude isn't going to get you anywhere, its just going to get them to call you back. They don't leave messages on answering machines because they're not allowed too. And when they call and you say you're not interested, but they keep trying to sell you because its there job requirement! Trust me these people don't want to talk to you as much you don't want to talk to them!

File official complaints to CRTC as per the latest ruling regarding to the numbers on the Do-not-call List.  The company must be responsible for its policy on the public - no matter what are its internal job descriptions of the employees.

I called them today - they have been calling me every single day.  Yesterday I Made the mistake of picking up the phone and then I heard it riniging and a guy came on the phone and asked for me by my full real name (which I don't normally use).  So clearly it is someone who does business with me who knows my real name.

I called them today and asked to be taken off their list, the person who answered was very friendly and confirmed she took me off the list.

I got 4 times. They just hung up as soon as I get the call. So annoying.

This number keeps calling and hang up every other day, so annoying.

I missed this call knowingly. I wish these annoying cals could be stopped

why is this unknown person calling me from Toronto? (I think 416 is the Toronto area). I live in Delta,B.C.,  and don't  know anyone in TO. I have caller I.D. , and, obviously, did not  answer the call; but, when you are on another call at the time, it's bloody annoying.How do these people get your/my number?

I followed the instructions from the user on here who wrote "to get removed call their head office at 416-581-1236 and press 0 for receptionist and request that you be put in on their internal do not call list." Brenda - at reception said it would take about a week for me to get removed from the call list.  Let's see if it happens!!!!

Just got a call for this number. Did't answer. They hangup without leaving VM. Then I Googled and found this page. Then send the number to my BLACKLIST on my Asterisk Server!

Ongoing saga with this horrible company that's been going on for months. I've made complaints with the Better Business Bureau, I've requested that my number be removed, I've sent emails. It's painfully annoying and I'm SO sick of them.

They are just trying to get you mad to see what you say to them,this is the law calling you, up to no good perhaps?

This Freacken number Calls me every day and as soon as i answer they hang up

They call me and hang up.... I called back and got some machine telling me they are a "contact centre" and tried to "contact me but were unsuccessful" How suspicious.

I got a call from this # today at work on my cell, I let it go to voice mail as I never answer #'s I do not recognize on my cell when I am at work - I googled it, and yes, I deal with AMEX so I bet it is an insurance carrier looking to sell me credit card insurance which is basically good for nothing so I will continue to ignore these calls in the future

For 4 weeks now I've been receiving about 2 calls per week from 416-313-4982. I finally decided to call the number back from a blocked line and got an "Optima Communications" message. I followed the intructions from the poster on page 1 who said "to get removed call their head office at 416-581-1236 and press 0 for receptionist and request that you be put in on their internal do not call list". I called the number and it was indeed Optima. I spoke to the receptionist and asked to be removed from their call list. She told me she'd put me on their internal do not call list immediately. I will post another update in a week or so to let everyone know if the calls stop.
