I got this phone call at  3:59 am on February 14th and they left a voicemail saying my first name and last name then they mentioned an organization i was once a part of, then they said 'F**k your mother"

Dont know what to do but these people really have no lives.

I received a phone call from this number: left no message, caller ID was 'Jack".

Here is what I've found to be really effective if you have an answering service or machine.

Record the SIT tone at the beginning of your answering machine message. You can find the .wav file for it here. http://www.yourhomenow.com/sit.html. Just play the wave file loud enough for your answering machine to 'hear it' then record the rest of your message.

If this person is using any sort of computer controlled system to dial numbers, the SIT tone tells the dialing computer that the phone line is not in service. Of course, a real person calling your line legitimately would just ignore it and leave a message for you after they hear your voice instructions. I've found this really helps cut down on these problems.

The reason this one got through is we had a power failure and I lost the recorded message on my answering machine. But you can bet the SIT tone is going right back on.

So how can Bell be allowing these phony 1 minute calls when we have Bell Do Not call on our Unlisted # ?

I received a message that I missed a call from this number.

Shortly before that I tried calling my own phone through Skype (as a test)  The first call didn't came through, and I suspect that's why I received this message with this number just a couple of minutes later.

Skype uses VoIP

This is actually the SkypeOut caller-ID in Toronto, Canada.  If someone calls you using this number, they are using Skype to make the call - many nasty telemarketers use it, but so do legitimate callers - maybe even your family.  They can be calling from anywhere in the world, and there's no way to actually trace whether the call is legitimate or not. For the most part, only people in the Toronto area will see this number, as Skype uses different dial-out numbers in different parts of Canada, the US or elsewhere in the world.

I just got a call from the number "Anonymous".

I kept saying hello hello hello and all I could hear was racket in the background.

I finally told them they had the wrong number so they hung up.

This number JUST started calling me. I didn't know who it was so I didn't pick up and they wouldn't stop.. i tried texting it and it said the number couldn't be texted to and I tried to call it back and it wouldn't work. This is too sketchy.

Just got a call from this number, with the call display name of "Anonymous". Whoever/whatever service is giving access to our numbers is pretty stupid.

Just received a call from this number with the call display name "ANONYMOUS".  It was some Indian guy telling you they work for a company tracking your travel reward points for credit cards.  They tell you that you qualify for free travel trips to Florida.

I kindly tell them I'm not interested buy the guy is quite pushy and keeps asking me why.  I ask the guy for his name, manager's name, and contact number and he refuses to tell me since its his personal information.

a total scam - I hope they never call back again!

just got a call from this number - tried to call back but was told 'this number is no longer in service'...i plan on calling this number at every hour of the night while i'm up with our baby...
being up at 3am should be fun tonight!

They called saying they were from "Sky Home Duct Services" the operator's name was Chris.

They are not using the do not call registry and a breaking the law.  I hope the government starts to crack down on these people.

I received calls from this number several times a day, everyday. This person sometimes uses another number 416-751-4382. He says he's from a gas company and he wants to check the furnace. One day he spoke to my wife and he told her he will install satelites in good rates. Then he started harassing us and swearing and cursing in Punjabi and English. He did this for several days. I informed the police and they didnt do anything. The police should stop this guy or telephone company should stop his calls. We are very annoyed by him.

Well this person called my cellphone twice in a matter of minutes and when I tried to call back it was busy. Tried again awhile later--still busy- trying to scam people I guess. Sucks that we live in an age where people use the phone to try and rob people. I'm smart enough to avoid crap like this but my worry is for vulnerable seniors and mentally incapacitated people who might fall prey to scammers like this. No doubt had I spoken with them I would have heard a long [***] story and them trying to con me. Grrr.
Thing is I quickly ran for the phone because to answer because I'm a single mom of 2 and was hoping it was Salvation Army calling me back with some help..things are really bad for me right now. To think this jerk would have tried to scam a struggling single mother of 2 babies sickens me. Like it's not bad enough as it is!! Seems the rich get richer and the poor stay that way :(
Hopefully they don't call again.

I've had this number calling me several times a day for months.

It's now 4:30am and I am writing this after being woken up by it.

I got a call on my cell from this number, which I missed. When I tried calling back I got an automated message. Since I was called minutes before I tried calling back, I grew suspicious and ended up here. Fishy!

someone that works at a collection company checked for me and said the number is from jp paving company keele and st clair.

recieved a call today from a lady initially she was talking in french or strange language calling my name my first and last name then i asked her who u are they she started speaking in english n daid call u back than hang up than i call that no first but seem this no was not in service and i tried again same answer but this time after message phone started to go through ringing but nobody pick up than i checked that no on google and found this site thanx
