This caller tried to get us to pay $350 for a directory listing we never agreed to list. He said he was from Canadian directory assistance (online), had an East Indian voice. I told him to eat a dic*. Why can we (people that get potentially scammed) not directly complain to our phone service providers and make them track, disable and report to the police the efforts of these scam artists? Are we not protected by law?
Writing messages like these are futile and are a waste of time as no one checks a site like this before they answer every phone call.

I just spent $2.00 (*69) to get the number 416 861-9381. As soon as I picked up the phone I knew it was BS. There was a delay in response then, a recorded message. I immediately put the phone down on the counter and returned to my other work, hoping the silence would lock up their system, or at the very least annoy someone if they dared to switch to a live operator. No such luck. The number is interminably busy. The next time they call I'll push all the right buttons just to get through to them so I can tell them off in the most colourful language.

I would like to thank everyone who has posted comments about his number. I have been getting calls from this number on weekly basis and my rsearch led me to this site. My game plan is now to block this caller. Thank you

i got a call from this number two days ago. i was in pickering ontario. i was busy so i did not answer the number. my first instinct was to #31# it to see who it was. the line was busy the first time and later on it said the number was disconnected.

had two missed calls from this number.  Probably got my number from Kijiji or Craigslist where I have a listing for a car.

This number says disconnected when I call them back.  They've been calling randomly for a few months now.  My # is unlisted and on the 'Do Not Call' List.  Things that make you go hmmm...

Should I consider myself lucky it's at decent times and only once at a time?  Pffft.  

I would like to know if anyone has gone to the police, if they have, I guess no action has transpired cause my call was an hour ago :(

I been harassed by the same person for months, and he's now using this so called untraceable number. regardless all of this needs to stop

This number called me about my furnace. That it needs preventive maintenance. The lady knows even my street address and my full name. Its just a good thing I was in front of my computer and googled the number, this saved my day.

I have been getting calls from this number and 416-861-9381. They almost always call at either 8:45 AM or 2:00 AM. I usually don't answer my phone but after seeing missed calls from this number like 50 times I finally did so today morning. They claimed to be calling from Amazon and said that the Credit Card I had on file was invalid and my Halo 4 preorder would be cancelled unless I gave them a new one. The thing is I actually use Amazon [but I definitely didn't preorder anything]. Needless to say I was flustered but luckily the phone got disconnected before I gave anything up and then my research led me here.

One thing to note is that I started getting calls from this number about the same time I started using JustEat.Ca and Ebay. Not implying anything, just a thought.

just got a call today September 11th, 2012.  They called and someone was breathing very heavily.  i was saying hello, hello... no answer. i hung up and called back with my number blocked and the call was disconnected before i even heard a ring.  i called again using my number without blocking it and the same thing happened.  i guess they have blocked incoming calls.  Whoever is doing this, is a low life, with lots of time on their hands, and up to no good...

I just got a call from them too but is was labled service.004 and call was soo bad all i got was duct clean... too bad the line sucked I would have played with him and said "so how long to u hold killing for after ther cleaned. see what happens

Guy on the other end wanted to sell me Gold futures or something. Conversation went as follows:
Him: Hi my name is x (i don't remember) and i am calling from Gold standard forex (or something)
ME: Do i know you???
Him: Well we spoke briefly a year back or so.
ME: Oh, well I'm not interested
Him: Well, have you been following the trends...
ME: Sorry, I am not interested right now. Thanks.
Him: GO STAY IGNORANT YOU LITTLE F--K!!!

And he hung up. I tried calling back, but the operator said it was disconnected or something. Pretty upsetting. I was quite polite.

Claims to be from Microsoft Windows and that my computer has been downloading viruses without my knowledge. They claim to have sent messages to me but will not confirm how when questioned. Their technical support asks to go to a website http://www.ammyy.com/ to download a remote desktop admin software, to gain access to my computer.

If anyone receives such a call, DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY SOFTWARE and HANG UP.

416-861-9381 called me at 11:30 on Jan.31st, 2013. I did not answer since call i.d, said "Unknown" and just figured it was telemarketing and nuisance. Went to VoiceMail message and no message left.
