I just got a call , from that number, didn't pick up but they didn't leave a message

Got a call from that same number, they also didn't leave a message.

Yeah, my boyfreind got this call just right now, at 20:00 wich is a wierd hour for scotia bank workers right. So what does it means, that scotia bank is sealing its client number to insurance compagnies?! Where do the world go, we have to stand up and say we don't want to be harras like that ! Revolution my friends! We will call Scotia BANk tomorrow and say GOODBYE! Thats seems a bit hard but it's not the only reason why we will leave scotia bank, you might know that this bank steal money to latino american countries with wich they make more money than with north america!

Received the same call over and over again asking for my father. They were supposed to send me info for myself and I cannot remember seeing that. I say it's a scam and please avoid all.

If they ask for the last three digits (VIN) of  your cc, hang up on them :)

I am about to report this number.

This number calls about 4-5 times per week, on behalf of Canada Student Loan, could be a collection agency.

I get a call from this number about 3 times a week which also says they are calling for Student Loan. I keep telling them that the person that owes them money has long since moved out, which is true, but they still keep on calling. The stupid "DO NOT CALL LIST" doesn't help, no matter how many complaints I file, what is it going to take? A life threat???

having been receiving calls from this number for weeks now especially around dinner time, they never leave a message it's annoying.  They called around 8am today...it's saturday for [***]'s sakes!  They just called again, 10:43am.  I think it's telemarketers, if they call don't answer.

Well, I've received this call 9 times in two days, it was a pakistani guy calling from American Express, asking to talk to me. Strange. I am assuming this is some way to get a Credit Card number as in Theft, as this number was reported for calling on BEHALF OF Scotiabank. Not Amex.

I don't negotiate with terrorists and that's what you telemarketers are. If I took 2 minutes out of my day to listen to you people ever time one called I would spend about 43 hours a year listening to your f'ing crap sales pitches. There is no deal you can offer me that makes it worth my time.

It's amazing to hear to hear the crap that comes out of some your mouths. The majority of the people that phone your houses are students ages 16-25. Now, i ask you....how would you feel if someone spoke to your child the way that some of you supposed adults speak to us? A job is a job regardless of what it is that you do for a living.

Oh and if you hang up on us, that just throws your number back into the dialer so you will keep receiving the same calls over and over again.

called and said he was calling on behalf of Scotia Bank with Asian accent, the moment I said i dont believe him he hungup

Got a call from them. I was not home but they called earlier this week wanting to know if I was at my bank on Tuesday. I was not because I work all day. They hung up.
I get these calls from time to time. What I do is keep them on the phone for as long as I can (it's their dime). I just continue to say no. When they ask why not, I ask if they would trust someone who calls day after day, can't pronounce my name right and do not seem to understand the word "no"?
I have no problem with people trying to make an honest living but "no means no".
Another thing I like to do is answer and, if there is a long pause, I wait for the guy from India to ask for someone who does not even resemble my name. I do not say a word, just keep breathing normally into the phone.
Want to waste my time, I can waste yours.
We kept a travelling salesman at our home leading him along for 6 hours because he lied to get into our house. When he left, it was after dark and he could not go door to door here.
My feeling is, if I want it, I will get it.

caller asked if i was nancy then hung up after 10 seconds and never called back.

I looked it up on a reverse white pages directory....
