This is a legitimate number of citicard fraud alert. i called them in their helpline number because they did not authorize a transaction. The call got disconnected and I got a call back from this number. I had changed my address and after that they flagged a transaction. She helped me clear the card and I could use it again.

Just rec'd a call from 423-467-6460, Jefferson City, TN, he said he was from CitiBank. ...

FRAUD...said they were from Citi...I called Citi, they had not been processing an application and had not called me. BE AWARE anyone can comment on here so would not believe any legitimate comments

I got a message from this number saying it was Citibank fraud dept. it said someone was trying to use my debit card, asking to call her with option 1 and option 2 along with my card # and reference #. It sounds a little odd, called Citibank directly and they said it was a scam trying to steal my info

I got a message about potential fraud on my citi account. Called back citi directly via their official numbers and they confirmed this is a scam.

I too received a call from this number, with a woman who was difficult to understand, who wanted to verify that I had applied for a credit card with Citibank.  I had already been approved by Citibank, and the card is supposed to be on the way to my address.  I called Citibank, and they claim they did not make the call, just to ignore the call.  I requested they investigate the number, but still feel very uncomfortable with the situation.

This is a scam, they left a message claiming to be citibank. I called citibank and citibank said they never called me.

Got a call from 423-467-6460 and it comes up as "Citi" on the caller ID. Let the machine pick it up. They left a message saying they were calling from Best Buy Visa and left a different number to call back of 868-574-1301. This was a bogus call and I am sure they were looking to get any info they could. We don't have any such accounts.

Received a legitimate call from Citi Fraud Dept. Called back to Citi to verify. Was hilarious because I kept questioning her legitimacy.

But it is likely that scammers could spoof the number.

I got a call from this number with a totally different number to call back as most listed below, but close. 866 385-5122  The name sounded like Tammy not Jamie (this was a mid west accent), so I called to let them know they had the wrong number.  This time I got the same odd Indian accent woman you all mention.  She said so you don't have a Citi Costco Visa or anything? I said I do and there is tons of fraud on it but my husband has been dealing with it for months.   So she asks me for the card #, I said we threw it away because you gave us a new one, do you want the new number?  She says yes, I get it out of my wallet and a light bulb went off.  I said you know what, my husband is in the middle of this so I will have him call you back and deal with it.  YIKES almost gave her the card number!  They are clearly the ones doing all of these fraudulent charges on our cards or how would they know?

I received a call at 5:50 am - the message said it was from Citi bank questioning activity on my account. The person did not speak English clearly. I did not return the call

Received a call from this number on my cell phone today.  Same deal.  Wanting to check on recent application for a Citibank card.  Call back number was 1-800-825-0393 an additional code was given as well. Deleted the voicemail.

I screen my calls, so I did not pick up when called from this number.  It referenced my Citibank credit card and referred me to the number on the back of my card.

I got a call from 432-467-6460 which I did not answer. People like this are the reason it's no longer safe to answer your telephone. Shortly after the call, I got a voicemail, a woman's voice, the recording badly was broken up, but she was saying something about "compleating your credit card application". I haven't applied for a credit card, so this is obviously a scam. I suspect it was an identity theft attempt. I'd pay real money out of my own pocket just to see people who do this kind of crap put in prison where they belong.

A man called me today, it shows this number, and said he is from citi bank. It is very hard to understand his English, but he knows my name. Obviously a scam.
