Got a call from 423-648-4908 but on one at the other end of the line. Very annoying, these people have no reason to call me.

Just got a called, pressed to know the name of the company they are doing market research on behalf of, and after a pause of a moment or so, I was told Wilkins Research. Pressing further, I asked for the website. More pausing, but eventually I was given www.wilkensresearch.net. When the website couldn't be found, I hung up.

Got a couple of call from this number, I don't know this # & won't answer who I don't know. Wish to stop unsollicited calls.

Hey, Me. You better GET some control over who your computer calls, because robo-dialing is illegal here in AZ, and it doesn't matter where your calling center happens to be located. You aren't following the law, and you have no business bothering people who are on the Do Not Call list.

Same story here, I'm in canada reciving these calls. What really urks me is that they have my first and last name and the phone number they called is'nt even registered in MY name. WHERE IS THIS INFORMATION COMING FROM????

You don't owe "me" anything, but there is a thing called being polite. There is no reason to treat someone poorly for doing their job. Your logic makes you sound like you are from the New York or New Jersey area. An area where it is becoming more and more clear to me that no one knows what being and good or caring person is.

The do not call list does not apply to a marketing research firm. Politians use them to get information for their campaigns. Like they will ever allow them to be illegal.

If they have you name, then you have used the service of their client, and the client wants your opinion of said service.

I can hardly wait to see their faces when they start calling quebec and they get annoyed and start telling them off in french.  Some americans don't parlez vous francais lmao!

Calls at odd hours.....

Hello "Me." Since you're sitting at a computer doing surveys and replying to people who hate your guts for your unsolicited phone calls, how about you use your spell check from time to time so you don't look like an illiterate telemarketer-type.  I'm pretty sure there's a "u" in the word insurance.  Duh...

Called me at 7:30 pm on my home phone, which is registered in the national do not call registry. When I told caller I had no time to do a phone survey, she was very courteous and wished me a nice evening. Called them back and got a recording with no options but to listen to recording again.

Wanted to threaten them with the $500 fine for calling a do not call registered number. Since they have this recording I am more angry now and will be pursuing the action after all.

I was not at all angry with the caller, but I think they have to have a system to take your number off their list, this seems impossible, so now I am mad.

Thy keep calling our number but say nothing then finally after saying hello several times they hang up. VERY annoying. We have recieved several calls in the last 5 days.

I am actually familiar with Wilkins Research and they are reputable outfit. They called last night to update the survey database.  My wife was actually invited to go the office last year to be part of a panel survey.  Made $50 for about two hours of sitting.  Paid her cash.  The survey was about cable TV.

I don't have to ask to have my number removed from your list.  My number is on the Canadian Do Not Call list and you just broke Canadian law.  Think it is toothless?  Well just wait, Canada, US and 10 other countries are co-coordinating their efforts to shut down companies like yours who think you can call with impunity to people who don't want to put up with BS marketers.  Think you can hide your caller id information?  Nope, when the call hits the SS7 all of the information of where the call originates is stored along with the caller id information it purports to be from (I did work on a system that processes the SS7 so I am a wee bit familiar with what goes through the telco circuits).  There may be an exception (for now) for 'survey companies', but, that may be getting closed soon as companies like yours is annoying a lot of people.
