Received a call from this number this evening on my cell phone.  I didn't answer it because I have been getting telemarketer calls lately.  They did not leave a message.

Do not call my home and invade my privacy asking my age and TV station of choice.

Comcast really should add more than 12 numbers we can block. Like 12 is great, but my cell phone can block unlimited numbers will the Call Control App.

I also work for Wilkins and while you can get people that don't do their job properly, most of us are. Wilkins hires a lot of students and sometimes if you are rude they will keep you on the list. The research we do improves the things around you, from radio to hospitals, but it is not perfect because computers run the system. Some numbers get called too frequently. If this is happening, tell them to please put you on the do not call list, if it happens again they need to red flag the number. I'm not there trying annoy people. I'm doing market research. If you don't like market research don't complain about the businesses around you or when doctors ignore you. We are there for your opinion on services. To help improve things. Also, Wilkins does do paid research.  We never sell anything, but we may be calling to pay you.

These people called me 15 minutes ago, They asked me for a survey, I say OK, but keep asking me constantly why I do not watch chanel 2 from Atlanta , I told her , I only watch Spanish tv and sometimes in the morning I watch the news in English, keep asking me why I do not watch certain channels,
Then hanged up.

We should NOT have to tell you people to stop calling us!  We have a right not to be hounded by every kind of lowlife telemarketer, "survey" taker, "research" firm ad nauseum, out there.  I for one, am sick of it and I wish our government would grow a backbone and get serious about stopping ALL unwanted phone calls.

Market research is bs.  You're just trolling for suckers to buy some unwanted product.  Do us a favor and stop calling the people on the Do Not Call list.  We know you're exempt (unfortunately) but most of us on the list don't want to be bothered by ANY telemarketers!  Give us a break!

I tried to reply to one of the posters who was a shill ( And this Phone # thread is full of shills !) but it stuck my post at the end of the list instead of beneath the poster I was applying to... Don't believe any posters that tell you what a great and honest outfit this is !!! They are crooks !!!

Hey. I work for Wilkins research too. I cannot get people to understand that the no calls list don't pertain to us since we don't sell anything and are not telemarketers. I still don't understand why that is so hard for people to understand.

Once again, that was not a telemarketing call. This company was doing research. I know because I use to work for a company like this. All they wanted was your opionion to help improve the quality of products and services in your area. If you dont want them calling, just polite ask them to put you on their do not call list. They will normally do it without hesitation, and you wont have any more problems after that. They will not be calling you back. DO NOT CALL laws do not apply to market research companies because they are not selling anything, therefore they are not telemarketers and are not affilliated with a telemarketing company. I repeat they are not telemarketers. I hope this can enlighten you and many others who have this similar problem. There really is no need to tell someone off. That is just part of their job to ask you whether or not you want to participate in a study and to explain what company they are calling from, and why they are calling.
. These people are not trying to harrass, but just make a living. These companies utilize a random dialer, which calls random numbers, ranging from hospitals, businessess all across the country, different zipcodes, different countries and states, and even different elevators.

I like everyone else have been receiving many calls from Wilkens reserch service late at night. I called the business number you provided below at 9 pm. I connected to an automated directory and waited until it said to contact the call center, press: 1.  I did that and actually was put through to a live person and relayed my frustrations with the many and late calls from Wilkens Research Services. I asked to be removed from their call lists and she verified my number from her caller I.D. and said she was sorry and will remove my number from the calling center. Time will tell.

If this is legit company calling, why don't they answer when you pick up??? Strange.  Also why the clock and dagger with no name or id to tell you how is calling.  Some folks like surverys and they would answer, I'm not one of them.  I don't care whether they are exempt from the Do Not Call list, once or twice you call a ph# and no one answers, more on, stop harrassing us with numerous calls way pass 9 pm Pacific Time for me.  If you want my opinion, drop me a letter asking.  Then I can decide to reply or not.
My phone is for my use, not theirs.  Tired of running to phone since I have an elderly sick relative and think the call will be about them.  Stop already!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a called to my home phone from this # 423-648-4908 show on my caller ID as Wilkins Research. I research for information about this number because I have been getting a lot of weird calls to my number that is listed on the DO NOT CALL list. I found the same information some of you found that the numbers is from Tennessee. I have the same question as many of you, why they call and don't say anything.
