- KitKat replies to irked, tooThanks for the detailed message. I'm located in the mountain time zone and this company just called at 8:30pm. I plan on tracking them so that I can provide detailed information to not only the TN Attorney General but also to other agencies that govern this activity.
- Kathie in GA replies to north woodmereSince you reported this several years ago and we are still getting those calls, I guess that tells us how well reporting these telemarketers to the Do Not Call registry helps! Another big waste of our taxpayer dollars.
- Atlanta, GASurvey call. Don't like survey calls.

- Delsey - Westcoast CanadaThey are even calling in Canada. I just moved and they have my number. I of course do not answer any calls coming from the United States because I don't know anyone there.
- La CrosseThey've tried calling several times. I've assigned "no ring" or "silent ring" to their number as to not distract me.
- Batbiecakes808 replies to Me| 1 replyThe guy that called me today was very nice , I am thinking about watching the videos. Do they really pay 125.00 for that ?
- Mr B.just received the call - called back - got a message - national survey poll and they MAY CALL BACK - They didn't have a leave a message option nor did they have a OPT OUT option - which is not legal! Formally report them as I did
- Call type: Survey
- JimAfter a very long pause a woman asked if I would answer a few questions about local radio stations, I said "Do not call list"

- Have done a focus group with them replies to MeWilkins Research is indeed a research firm, just like this poster said. I have spoken with them, and everybody has been very nice. I even did a focus group with them to the tune of 175.00 for a days work! Maybe everybody here doesn't like to make great money for giving their time and opinions...but I'll answer the phone for that Chatanooga TN number any day!!
- AnonymousYour bitching isn't going to change anything. Being rude to employees isn't going to change anything. Going above the heads of Wilkins Research and complaining to the firm that has hired them, though?
That will change everything.

615-301-3100 - SKYCAPTAINEDDIEIdiots from some research phishing - now that I know the number, I won't pick up again; they just got me because I have family out in Tennessee and thought it might be a family member calling with a changed number. I really only have a house phone because I need a landline for 911 (son critically ill), but it's still not right that we have to check a number before ignoring it. =(

- GaryI just received a call from the number and call it back. It was Wilkins Research Services, 1730 Gunbarral Rd., Chatt. Tn 37421 (615-648-9408). I was told they do product surveys for products in my area and they weren't selling anything. The fact that they're doing product surveys and not selling anything exempts them from the Do Not Call list unless you tell them you don't want to do the survey and you don't want anymore calls.
I talked to a woman in "call services" and told her that if I got anymore calls (this was the third) that I'd file a complaint with the state and FTC. She said she'd remove my name. If they call back, I'll file the complaint and if that doesn't work I'll take a trip to Chat. and have a lively discussion with them. It's only about 100 miles and we've got a couple of friends we can visit along the way.- Caller: Wilkins Research Services

- Friendly Advice - Leave the Ringer OffThe phone number (423) 648-4908 is from Chattanooga, TN evidently (that's all it says on the Caller ID anyway). Anyway, whoever it is; they usually will call only once during the day or evening and then will leave no message at all - just the hang up sound. I have my home phone set not to ring at all and the answering machine picks up after six rings; leaving the light on the telephone blinking to let me know when someone has actually left a message.
Ever since I signed up for the national Do-Not-Call registry (1-888-382-1222) I have gotten far less calls; however I still get them occasionally so leaving the 'ringer' OFF is simply far more convenient and really works for me. If it is a legitimate call I can always get back to them later on. And if it isn't they usually do not continue their call after 5-6 rings. I started using this "I'll get back to you later on" method when I found out that just picking up the phone and saying "Hello?" puts you on the 'telemarketers sucker list' and then you get hit with WAY more calls after that.- Caller: Chattanooga, TN

- JohnThanks to everyone that has identified this number. Also thank you for taking the time to write in your comments and for your honesty. Big help.
- who cares| 4 repliesI understand that it can be really frustrating but Wilkins does surveys for different things including some of you peoples jobs it takes no time to do a survey and voice your opinions. I don't get why everyone is so upset reporting this company for what!?? Would you rather a survey contact you than some company trying to scam you?...

- Gary replies to who cares| 3 repliesI don't want anyone contacting me about a survey. I realize that product surveys without sells are legal even if I'm on the Do Not Call list, but it is illegal to call back after being notified that I don't want any more calls from the surveyor. I'd like to see a Do Not Call list that includes surveys and that's were it's headed if the surveyors can't control themselves. It's simple: Stop bothering people who don't want to be bothered.
I really doubt the validity of a survey done when so many don't respond or only respond after being pestered to death. Pay for (or get volunteers for) a focus group that includes likely users as any legit business would do. - kissbearThis number is calling me at least once a day and usually close to 9:00pm for the last few weeks. I thought there were laws regarding this type of call, especially late in the evening. I have tried to ask them to take me off their list, but they keep calling. I don't want to take your survey!

- WHO CARES!!!! replies to Gary| 2 repliesokay i still dont see your point. i dont see why this is a big deal!!. just tell them to stop calling that is all you have to do in most cases. it is far worse things happening in the world and all you can think of is a survey calling your phone?? get real!! their calling does not have a negative or postive impact on me. everybody has different views. and you think people dont respond to these surveys people do just not u and the other people who comment.
they do a really good job actually.
