How did they get my number, to fix my computer, they know what model and maker of my computer.

"microsoft" calling about my computer, couldn't speak english and had a rubbish phone line. Told them to f@#k off.... tipical scam

Awakened from a deep sleep at 6:30 this morning by this caller.  My heart was pounding and I wondered what was the emergency.  Caller said she must talk to us about our computer that it had viruses, etc.  Woke up ernough to think "How does she know what computer we have?"  
Then said, "We don't need you" and hung up.  She literally gave me a headache, awakening me so abruptly.

I got a call at 12:10pm ETS and a man with an Indian accent claimed he was a Microsoft Technician and that my computer has been sending errors messages lately and that indicates that my computer has been downloading viruses from websites like facebook, youtube, etc. He asked me to go to my computer, but being suspicious I said that if I had any problems I'd just get a better antivirus or call Microsoft myself. The man said Microsoft would shut down my computer services if I didn't solve the problem with him. They wouldn't give me proof that they are Microsoft and do have my file pulled out.
Clearly this is a SCAM, they just want full access to your computer. I never gave Microsoft my new home number so it should have been a sign the moment he ask me if he had reached (000)000-0000.

This is about the 3rd time this call has come into to my home.. ..... speaks very little english.....wants to talk about my computer.....absolutely DO NOT out any info....JUST HANG UP......apparently telling them to delete your phone number does not work........

I received a call from this number yesterday. I knew that it was a scam so I played along for a very short time. I told him that I was pleased that they called and that I wanted to know how to reach them. The guy gave me a phony number in the 819 area code. I asked him for his name and after some hesitation, the person with a heavy India accent told me that his name was George Bush. What are the odds that an ex-President would call me to do tech support? It's a pity that George hung up once I started yelling obscenities at him. Too bad, it was fun. LOL

Spouse answered, and although not an expert, she recognized it was a "Microsoft" scam just as reported by other folks.  She hung up. Caller ID said "Not In Service".  Number has been blocked.

SCAMMERS....hang up.

Received a call on January 9, 2013 at 10:51 PM.   Caller stated they represented Microsoft and that my computer was sending a signal that my computer was in jeopardy.  Hung up on the caller.

SCAM about electric utility rate savings. Company name or phone number is never mentioned. This is a SCAM outfit. DO NOT ask them to be put on their "Do Not Call List".  All this does is confirm your number is a good number.  This fraudster then will sell your number to other SCAMMERS.

I got the same call today, idiots really think people fall for this. I asked him what he wanted and he said I had a computer problem with my PC.  I said really?  I have an Apple idiot

Get several calls each day from this #. A couple weeks ago an Indian woman did the whole "you PC has a virus" number & I told her to %#@* off. Now they call 2 or three times a day & when I answer I get a recording of a simulated voice that says "good-bye". Is there any way to stop this or do I just accept that these [***] will call me every day. Beyond annoying.

Saw this number on my caller ID "NOT IN SERVICE" 425-406-9022 and did not answer. When I googled the number this site came up. Appreciate the Info and will not call them back.

i got call from this number and wanted me to turn on computer to help with "bug" that was trying to infect computer, i said loudly    I AM NOT PLAYING YOUR GAME

The number on my Caller ID was (425) 406-9022. And get this ... it said "Not in Service". How can you have a number that's Not in Service?????  LOL  This is a first !!!

This is a complaint. There was no one there and when I tried to call them I got the busy signal. How can I stop these scammers?

This man calls to say they are are getting error reports from my computer & I ask them to take my name and phone number off their phoning list. He wants me to go Online with him. Had a good laugh at him.
